Just have a simple question.

Will there be a toolset for dragon age 2?

They are avoiding this question. It has been asked a fair bit yet they wont say. Either they are keeping quiet for marketing to use it or its a no. My bet is no since EA is the boss now.

EA helps.

Now Toolset Might not be coming.

If not.

I hope for greater support with the current one.

The question isn't whether or not a toolset exists. It is the very thing the developers use to make the game, so of course it exists. The question is whether they will release it like they did with DAO.

Toolset makes it very difficult to sell some DLCs on PC. Skin packs, weapon packs won't sell well when people can MAKE better skins and weapons and share them for free.

Im on both console and pc

If they do not they better start cranking out those dlcs and expansions quickly and they had better make them good lol. A good exspansion or dlc idea even though it is to early to start coming up with ides is that making your DAO character come it too DA2

I don't think that is true.  In fact, it has quite the opposite effect on me.  The options in the modding community has never swayed my interest in DLC.  I usually purchase all DLC and utilize a ton of mods as well.

It seems to have worked in the Sims community as well - the Sims Store gets plenty of business despite having one of the largest modding communities.

Having community mods keeps my interest in games longer.  With community mods, I have more variety than any DLC can offer.  It gives me an opportunity to customize and alter my game in ways that Bioware/EA will never do.  Furthermore, I can alter the game to make it different which keeps me changing things up and going back for more.

Without community mods, there is no way that I'd still be playing DAO.  It is only because I continue to play the game that I continue to purchase DLC for DAO.

On the other hand, Mass Effect 2 which I played twice and have not downloaded any community mods, I have not touched since Kasumi.  I know there is more DLC out there, but since I stopped playing the game awhile ago, I just don't have the interest in finding out more about the new DLC.
