Adepts can't use Widow without cheating, can they? thought, like the Revanent and Claymore, it only unlocked if you already had the appropriate weapon catagory available.

Yeah. But as a I say, an Adept with Warp Ammo and a Widow is bloomin' killing machine. Reminds me of the Ghosts from Starcraft, only with warp bombs instead of cloaking devices

So..... the infiltrator with a widow is like a Ghost from Starcraft. An adept with a sniper rifle is like an adept with a sniper rifle.

I prefer AR on my Adepts and SR on my Engineer. Even thought they are both caster classes. Plus the new DLC thats coming out very soon should have a new AR in it (hopefully).

I actually hated the Rev with my Adept, it's just not accurate enough though it's very powerful if you can get close enough (and the "never ever have to reload during a fight thing" is nice too). The Rev is designed specifically for the Soldier class, the Rev + AR is devastating and accurate - for all other classes the Vindi, GPR, Avenger and the CAR (LE) are better options. Same with the Claymore, Soldiers can use it effectively - but the Vanguard benefits most of its capabilities. This beast is only deadly when fired at point blank range - Vanguard (and to a lesser extent Soldiers) are suposed to be the only classes to wield this weapon. But it seems that Adepts can handle this shotty pretty effectively

@ JaegerBane: Never tried the Widow with my Adept, but I'm affraid it cannot one shot kill normal enemies on Insanity (I'll have to test this to be sure) - and thats what the Widow is supposed to do, right?

But I have to say I do love the Viper, in fact I removed all other weapons, it's just the Viper - to attack at long range - and when closing in on the enemy I switch to the Claymore. The Claymore-Viper Adept is on the march, beware

Uh.... the reason I drew the comparison was due to the idea of a psychic sniper. The Infiltrator is just a sniper.
