Ah, what a great excuse to return to Dragon Age and slay my enemies. Thanks Bioware. Hopefully this add-on will be as challenging as the add-on page hints, as Awakening was much less so.

Pretty interesting, i'll definately be getting this dlc. I'm also curious about the rewards. The new companions will be great too.

Interesting - I'll definitely give it a shot, particularly for only $5 (£3.40 to me). Can I assume, given this announcment and the stated release date that we can expect roughly 1 DLC a month, hehe?

What save file do we load our level 35 Warden from Awakening since there was no epilogue save? The save right before fighting the Mother?

Yes and no.   

No, it is not as big as Awakening since it's a DLC, but it's only $5.

Yes, it is an expansion since you can continue to play your Warden imported from Origins or Awakening.  This means that decisions you've made in Origins and Awakening carry forward.  Yes, your Warden will earn xps, gain levels and acquire new gear.  WOW!!! 

That's two DLC in less than a month!!  Are we getting spoiled or what??  I can't wait!!

If you think about it, all of the game-changing decisions have already been made before your battle with Mother - all the quest flags have been set at that point (ie Kill architect or not, save Amaranthine or Vigil's Keep).  The most recent Awakening save file is indeed all they would need.  They would assume that you'd kill Mother and give your Warden the xps for doing so in the Import.
