Did you see the trailer? Why are they using the music of Mass Effect 2!?
Because they're preparing us for DA2, naturally.

i dont mind playing hawke in DA2.
finally a DLC where i can play my warden again.
seriously thinking, i dont think bioware can do another expansion and make the warden even more god like....think about it, which dark spawn can defeat your warden? lol

This new DLC sounds interesting, I'll definitely purchase it but I still think it's a quest that could have been added to the main game, sounds like it would fit nicely in Awakening.

Saw the screen shots and read the interview with Bioware at mmorpg.com. The last screen shot looks like Leliana fighting some skeletons. They did say there would be some suprises with companions. Totally getting this DLC.
Considering they just had Corinne Kempa in to do VOs for Leliana's Song, I wouldn't exactly call it a surprise if Leliana was in the game. I'd call it "wonderful" and "brilliant", but not a surprise.
Edit: 400 points? YES! Exactly what I had left over on the account!

What save file do we load our level 35 Warden from Awakening since there was no epilogue save? The save right before fighting the Mother?
Phew. I thought I'd done it wrong.

one interesting point is the whole ''create a new character'' ... I mean really is this dlc that big?
or just a feature for people who are done with their wardens...
C'mon Drake one more quest to conquer before you reunite with your leliana...
(that said the dlc sounds interesting) I just hope it take a little bit longer then a week to come out, I still have to finish leliana's song... and am so friggin busy with more important stuff.... >_>
EDIT:
it's already released longer then a week doh<_<, Still think they won't meet this deadline aswell... but hey I don't care

Is there in this story some new and strong elements that could be use in DA2?
It is said DA2 will use our Origins/Awakening and DLC saved games to import choices in the story, so could this DLC have any influence for the new framed narrative story BioWare is working on?
Please BioWare, I really need an answer, it does matter to decide me for purchasing this DLC or not.

I want to see an expansion the focuses on better storyline continuation with my Warden post Origins w/ some good combat. I'm not concerned about how much I level up.

BIOWARE IMPORTANT QUESTION: will there be possibility to import character from this Golems DLC save to Awakenings expansion?
Probably not.
The announcement already says that you can import your Origins or Awakening Warden into GoA DLC. This would imply that the events in GoA happen AFTER Awakening. Just like you can't import your Awakening Warden into Origins, you won't be able to import your GoA Warden into Awakening or Origins.
Well, why? import something to origins doesnt basically have sense but when you have option to import character to awakening you got option to import from different module - not just origins main story save.
The save file format for GoA may not be compatible with Awakening's file format. That's why you cannot load an Awakening game save into Origins.

me too. if they bump the difficulty up like they say they have for this dlc, then the warden won't be very god-like in an expansion. i doubt an expansion is coming, but i would love to see one.Bratt1204 wrote...

your imported save will have hardly influence at the story in da2. look how it was made in me2 - just some reminders here and there and 2-3 additional sentences, that's it. if at all the dlc will get recognized you won't encounter dramatic changes. not to forget those horrible letters you recieve in awakening...

Not so sure, because the events of DA:O in a chronological aspect haven't take place yet at the beginning of DA2.
And rememberer words of Mike:
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/141/index/3153797%25252526lf%2525253D8/1#3154321
"Our intent is to include information and decisions from Awakening as well as Origins into DA2. "
As well, "Decisions made in DA:O will show up in future iterations of the DA universe."That's what we learn from the Bioware podcast:

Also does anyone know if we import our character will armor carry over? If it does then does that not mean the DLC would need to have every armor record on file?
Oh and thanks I've been waiting for new loot for ages, here hoping they stick a new named Sentinel Armor in that doesn't conflict.
