I think (and this is a guess) that the expansion that almost everyone wants as closure for your Warden will come out this holiday season. It just makes sense. BioWare does not have any major projects (that I know of) set for the holiday season so a major expansion that closes out your Warden's story right before DA/2 comes out would be logical. It also gives BioWare a piece of the holiday pie so to speak.

what time will the dlc happen? after DA1 and Awakening? Will there be companions who we already know?

This sounds great. Playing my Warden again is what it's all about for me. Good job BioWare. Also good to hear that it will be a challenge.

They might have their hands full with DA2 as it is, much less having enough time to pull out an expansion.

Awakening occurs 6 months after the end of Origins. This GoA DLC takes place after Awakening. How long after Awakening, we don't know for sure.
We don't get any of our old companions in GoA. All we've heard is that we get a Dwarf, his pet Bronto and a Golem (not Shale).

If I can bring Shale with me I'm game.
*Spoiler*
Doesn't shale search to regain her mortality after the warden shows theirself as an example that the "squishy" races aren't so bad. The epilogue sends shale off as a dwarf pigeon-murderer... so It wouldn't make much sense to me to be able to bring Shale with. However, it'd be cool to, I suppose.

Maybe she changes her mind with ah "Piegeon crap! What I'm doing... I'm just as sexy and cool as a golem." XD

Surely it just proves that your Warden is an utter badass, not that Wardens in general are always needed?Tezzajh wrote...
best DLC so far and proves that wardens are always needed, and not just for blights
