I don't think you're quite getting my gripe.

I guess my last topic I should have put "Professional" figure skaters, because that is what I intended my list to be. That is my point, that people are just making joke posts on topics, ruining the topic with meaningless, semi-false entries.

That is what I care about, the integrity of lists being kept. if someone asks for, say, "top ten acting techniques" and someone put something like "not acting" rather than sticking by the rules and putting in "Meisner Technique" or "Stanislavsky's Method"... its behavior like that which annoys me.

However, if I got it all wrong, and despite all the topics in the past pages (which I read), the new rules are "real posts and joke posts are ok now", then I feel that should be made clear to me right now so I don't make a big deal about it in the future.

I didn't miss your meaning. I'm simply syaing that just because someone posts something that you may think is "just making joke posts on topics, ruining the topic with meaningless, semi-false entries" doesn't mean that they are. There could in fact be a lot of thought behind their post. I think perhaps you might just be missing some of the wit and humor of those post. It in no way 'ruins' the integrity of the topic or thread, in my opinion.
