Except it is much better than FF7Last Darkness wrote...
I third this notion. I have quite the nostalgic memories for this game. Its my Final Fantasy 7.

Because finding an intact copy of the game is quite rare these days, without draining your funds of courseBryQan wrote...
Why not just buy KOTOR and play it on your 360...it is one the backwards compatible games out there

Just playing it now for the first time (got to Tatooine, first planet after Dantooine) - no problems other than some patchy audio here and there.

While the game runs ok on the 360 there is a small problem with the sound going off at random moments.
My question is since KotoR was/is so popular, Why doesn't Bioware just remake it for the 360/PC?

I thought that myself. Until I bought a copy of the game from ebay for £10. Not a mark on the disc and the case and manual are both like new.
I think you just need to shop around and be patient. I didn't rush into buying the game and it paid off.
And I was suprised by how well it runs on the 360. Some Originals suffer from really bad compatibilty.

I have it on disc and I would just love for it to work. It's got to be the least backwards compatible game I've ever played. The cutscenes are unwatchable.
tbh apart from 2-3 times where they were laggy it was perfect for me.
