Looks great, I'm really excited about this one! And um....as a Dalish lover, if we're delving into the secrets of the dwarves is there any way possible (any way at all, pretty please with a cherry on top?) that we'll get to delve into Dalish lore some day in the future? Please? Please????

See, I played all of ME2 and I didn't even notice, haha. But then I only played it once and couldn't be bothered with it again.

Sooo... when is this supposed to be taking place chronologically? After Awakening? If so, how long after?

Well, you can import your Awakening character, so after that, but I don't know how long after.

Interesting, I'm sure it will be a good addon. I'll have to consider buying it.

After reading the interview I wonder if a non-hardcore gamer will be able to finish this DLC.

I don't really care about the hardest achievement, but at least to be able to complete the main quest.

Summarizing my question is.. Is this a game that any player can beat or is it only for more expert/skilled hardcore players?

Nice. Good to see more will happen with my character.

I wonder how DLC items will transfer over

I can't wait to see the new companions either.

I hope it is longer than previous DLC as I loved the Deep Roads in Origins and Awakening.

Despite being described as a DLC for the "Hardcore" BioWare afficinado, I'm thinking it was a *slight* play on words. I think a more accurate explanation would have indicated that it's a DLC for "Experienced" Dragon Age Vets. In other words, if you beat the Archdemon down easy, or shoved your foot, sword, or Stave through Awakening's Broodmother and know how to make a party work for you, the DLC will be an engaging experience, but won't leave you screaming at your Flatscreen or Monitor.
That's never been BioWare's style.
They want you to be engaged by the story, and enjoy the visceral nature of the combat, but they're not out to ****** you off by making the game difficult to beat. Just look at all the Nightmare playthroughs you can find here in the Forums and on YouTube. So, yeah, I think someone who's *just* getting into the DAO series might have a hard time with GoA, but for those of us who have braved the Deep Roads before? Just another notch in the Victory Belt.

Sweet! I've enjoyed all of the DLC that have come out so far, (With the exception of Darkspawn Chronicles) but I found all of them to be too easy for my taste, even on nightmare. Hopefully this new DLC will quench my thirst for nailbiting battles to the death. I also look forward to seeing the cool rewards for beating this new adventure.

Apart from the aspect, I am more curious about the gear, if we will transfer with all our equipment or we will import only the character whit his abilities/skills/etc but with a canon starting equipment..
If they let me to import my Warden equipped with the Sentinel Armor I won't fear anything... Image IPB

BioWare also made a big deal on how hard it would be in ME2 to have your whole squad survive the suicide mission. Its likely marketing bluster to give this DLC an identity other than "Deep Roads Grind."

Ahem - yes, what about companions? It's great we get Jerrik and Snug but is this really going to be a DLC where our trusted DA:O/A companions aren't at our side? REALLY?
