Music is Suicide Mission from ME2 I think. At least it fits with what they say.

Despite being described as a DLC for the "Hardcore" BioWare afficinado, I'm thinking it was a *slight* play on words. I think a more accurate explanation would have indicated that it's a DLC for "Experienced" Dragon Age Vets. In other words, if you beat the Archdemon down easy, or shoved your foot, sword, or Stave through Awakening's Broodmother and know how to make a party work for you, the DLC will be an engaging experience, but won't leave you screaming at your Flatscreen or Monitor.
That's never been BioWare's style.
Well, not since BG series at least. I remember going straight for the red dragon in BG2 being pretty damn frustrating on just hard mode, and had to skip it after dozens of failures to come back later levelled.
But yeah, you're probably right. At the very least it should offer some challenge though, unlike Awakening.

Huge Bioware fan but I 'm not a fan of Dwarfs, and the fact that DA2 has little to do with our Warden from the first game leaves me with little reason to buy this. Not to mention the Mass Effect 2 background music seems a little lazy to me.
yes that +100 Win for you Ser

Weren't there a screenshot of Leliana in that article? Does this mean the old companions will be available for this?
I saw the same screenshot. They said there would be suprises when it came to companions. Awesome.

That over with, this looks nice. I'm partial to the dwarven areas of DA as it is, so I'll be picking this up.

Complaining about the music, really? I have to wonder what some people would say when they realize some trailers use music Bioware didn't even compose? Oh, the horror!

The music in that trailer was the suicide mission theme in ME2, a game by Bioware and that music does not fit this game at all, Bioware got lazy.

400 MP scares me, as I remember the 40 minutes it took me to finish The Darkspawn Chronicles...

It's a trailer. For a DLC. You put something suitably epic-sounding in the background while the narrator gives you some plot points. For instance, the Mass Effect 2 launch trailer used music from a production company (Two Steps from Hell - "Heart of Courage"). To complain about them using already existing mucic in a trailer is just nitpicking of the highest degree.kraidy1117 wrote..

It does fit perfectly well. I'm pretty sure it's a Two Steps From Hell track, too... which BioWare used for ME2 trailers, rather than the game itself. (Though I might be mistaken)Eudaemonium wrote...
Why are people complaining about the
music? I thought it fit perfectly well. It was a suitably epic track of
music that, let's be hoenst, could have come from anywhere. I didn't
even reliase it was ME2 (I finished the whole game) until someone
brought it up here.
