Do we know when the DLC takes place. Getting a bonus plot item (as the Provocateur leather) for Origins and Awakening if it is set later would be strange.

I think it´s a cut from the Suicide Mission team?

Not really any stranger than Blightblood or the Provocateur armor were.

Mass Effect 2 music. Really?
The trailer music is the same theme used in the
"Suicide Mission" from ME2. I guess this Golems DLC will be showing just
how 'massively effected' Dragon Age 2 is going to be.

Given the fact that you can apparently play it either between Origins and Awakening or just after the latter, it seems like it can take place whenever you want it to.Nerevar-as wrote...

And hoping that they're supporting Dragon Age: Origins for 2 years as previously stated.
I don't mind starting a new character for DA2, but I'd like playing the warden more.

Chronologically Golems of Amgarrak takes place after Awakening (or Origins if you didn't play Awakening).
Hmm, so not between Origins and Awakening but sometime after the death of the Archdemon.. heh, cool I think I get it now. I was trying to figure out why we would be importing our characters when in past DLCs we have basically been able to do them in any chronological order. It's kind of like a mini-expansion pack, in a way. Cool deal, glad to see more DLC coming out

Or they could've just repurposed music they already had the rights to instead of paying the money to license or compose something new for a 1 minute trailer.BFBHLC wrote...

Why can't you add more stuff to the main campaing anymore? I enjoyed Soldier's Peak, Return to Ostagar and stuff like that... I just wish there was more stuff like them in the future DLCs, because they do add a lot of stuff to play and they also change the gameplay a little. Maybe I'm asking too much, but the more time I spend playing on a game, the more rewarding it feels.
There's only so much you can add to the Origins campaign. For PC players, there are mods that do add to the Origins map. For myself, I've added 5 new map areas and in all of my play-throughs, I can easily reach the level 25 cap. I don't even need to play all the newly added areas, in fact. So, there is a limit as to how much can be added that would be of benefit.
These expansion DLC's (ie Awakening and GoA) do add to the Warden's story and should be viewed as such. On all my play-throughs, I go from Origins to Awakening. And when GoA comes out, I'll add that one to do after Awakening since that's the correct chronological ordering.

In other words, do player choices and events in GoA have any effect on DA2?

You do have a point... But I kinda like the fact I can involve the other companions in my DLCs, if you see what I mean. I love bringing Zevran, Leliana and Wynne along while I explore new regions. Hehe.

Cost-wise, it's not possible for Bioware to develop such and make it profitable within the confines of a $5 - $10 DLC because of all the voice-acting that would be involved. I'd like to be able to hear my companions say something about the new map areas; otherwise, you're bringing them only for their contributions to battle.

Victor did mention that end of game flags set in Origins and Awakening would be imported into DA2. Since this GoA DLC allows import of the Warden character, does it also set or change game flags that will be imported into DA2?

I got the same question.: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/94/index/3268903/5#3280046
Still witing for the answer
