I was thinking of raising the starting level of the module I'm working on, but I was hoping to use the Awakening system (where we use the character generation to make an 18th level character.) Is there a way to raise the level that character generation takes you to? I tried awarding XP before character generation, but it just gets erased by some initilization process.
Also, how does the scripting for Awakening's book of Focus work? I was hoping to use a very similar item for customizing companions, but I don't know how to script that.

If you credit him appropriately you should be fine adapting that code to your purposes (I credited him in my readme and made my respec vendor a raven named Werik
