Not cool, bro.

True. Maybe the Turian genetic stucture is weak compared to Humans and Krogan. That might be the reason why you see so few Turain biotics (something that seems to interest Harbinger a lot.)

Not necessarily. According to Grunt, you have to "work the blade a little more" with them.

...Then he thinks he's great for making a pun about there not being much "point".

Mass Effect Wikia wrote...

The turian government, known as the Turian Hierarchy, is a hierarchical
meritocracy. While it has great potential for misuse, this is tempered
by the civic duty and personal responsibility turians learn in
childhood.
Turians have 27 citizenship tiers, beginning with civilians (client
races and children). The initial period of military service is the
second tier. Formal citizenship is conferred at the third tier, after
boot camp. For client races, citizenship is granted after the individual
musters out. Higher-ranked citizens are expected to lead and protect
subordinates. Lower-ranking citizens are expected to obey and support
superiors. Promotion to another tier of citizenship is based on the
personal assessment of one's superiors and co-rankers. At the top are
the Primarchs, who each rule a colonization cluster. The Primarchs vote
on matters of national import. They otherwise maintain a 'hands-off'
policy, trusting the citizens on each level below them to do their jobs
competently.
Throughout their lives, turians ascend to the higher tiers and
are occasionally 'demoted' to lower ones. The stigma associated with
demotion lies not on the individual, but on those who promoted him when
he wasn't ready for additional responsibility. This curbs the tendency
to promote individuals into positions beyond their capabilities.
Settling into a role and rank is not considered stagnation. Turians
value knowing one's own limitations more than being ambitious.
Turians enjoy broad freedoms. So long as one completes his
duties, and does not prevent others from completing theirs, nothing is
forbidden. For example, there are no laws against recreational drug use,
but if someone is unable to complete his duties due to drug use, his
superiors step in. Judicial proceedings are 'interventions.' Peers
express their concern, and try to convince the offender to change. If
rehabilitation fails, turians have no qualms about sentencing dangerous
individuals to life at hard labor for the state.

Too primitive? Heck, if only our political system would work that way..

I thought it had more to do with biology and not social factors. They have a primative digestive system (gizzards) and the dextro-ness putting them in the minority with the quarians.

Exactly, papapudding. See, they should have just said, "Turian, you have failed us before."

That's Turian culture you're talking about. Harbinger is talking about their genetics. I think he (and the writers) just couldn't think of any reason not to be harvesting Turians so he just made up any nonsensical excuse he wanted.

Because behavior and social organization aren't at all influenced by a species' genes and evolutionary history.

The Reapers clearly didn't have any trouble with Turians before. Sovereign's top guy was a Turian. I think the Reapers are just petty.

Harbringer rarely makes sense. I took his collector station so his arguments are invalid.

Supposedly when you heal squadmates, but I've never heard them either myself.

That had nothing to do with Saren being turian.  Saren just found out about Sovereign while investigating something else, and thinking it was just some awesome warship, appropriated it (or so he thought).  He was really only useful because he was a Spectre, and there's no implied approval of Saren's species as a whole.  Sovereign just fed him a line about maybe letting turians (and possibly other species) live as servants to the Reapers because that's exactly what Saren hoped would happen.

Saying any species, apart from the vorcha, are a universally 'higher' form of life isn't cool either.

I don't think it's like that.

Almost every other comment Harbinger makes is referring directly to a species' genetics.

He makes no comments on a species' behavioral tendences, and I don't think they matter, so long as the goo is good.

Besides, do you really think the Reapers would say, "Turians, your organized militaristic society makes you invalid for proper replication"?

I'm actually interested to hear what he'd say for the species we don't have on our squad. Volus and hanar is fairly obvious as to what he'd say, but more 'mobile' species like the batarians would be interesting.

Well Harbringer is a bit of a geek about humans and a total Shepard fanboy/girl/thingy. The thing about the insecure geeks are that they have atendency to call other geeks with other interests geeky so they can live in denial about being geeks themselves. In these forums we see examples of this in those who tries to mock Tali fans for example. I bet Harbringer is constantly having wild discussions about wich race is the best reaper baby food on the reaper forums.

"Anyone who thinks turians are best are naive and stupid!"

"No salarians are best because I know best"

"All you human fans are racists"

Etc... etc...

So naturaly Harbringer falls back into his habit of trolling all races that are not human when it meets its idol Shepard.
