I'm attempting to land on Tuchanka for the first time. Grunt and Mordin's loyalty missions, so it's pretty essential. 

Every time I attempt to land on the planet the space shuttle image cycles to it's landing position, then the music cuts out. A cursor appears and the screen remains animated but with no sound. 

I can't alt tab out and the only way to exit is to manually shut down my lap top.

Is this a known issue with an easy fix? I think not as I've searched the forums and google and found nothing to resolve it.

What information should I provide for help?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I cannot progress with my game until this is resolved.

Does anyone have an idea? there must be some kind of knowledge about this sort of error floating around...

I managed to resolve the issue with reinstall of my game and all my DLC. However, I don't want to have to do this every single time an issue like this occurs.



If anyone has insight into how this kind of thing happens so that it can be avoided it would be appreciate if you can reply here so others searching for a fix can know too.

same thing in all tuchanka missions. At the beginning, the voices are gone (you can not not hear anybody - only gunshots are left) then it freezes and crashes... any solutions rather than restarting the missions because it does not work..
