Do horns make the Qunari any hornier?

Personaly i would've just said Sten was a half bred and those Qunari are what true Qunari look like, but the Qunari are mysterious enough to justify it that way as well

On that note, i do look the design and it's nice to see the Qunari stand out as a race rather than just being "uh those giant dark skinned guys?"

Also i hope the dwarves looks less...how do i put it...."stupid and mishapend" hopefully now limbs are all equally perportiant without the giant head/faces/noses, the art for varrik looks good, hopefully rest of the dwavrves apear that way as well

Could the hornless qunari be the product of the traditional (horned) qunari + human mix?

That would presuppose the notion that qunari and humans could interbreed... and/or the possibility that qunari had encountered humans prior to coming to Thedas, wouldn't it? Anything is possible.

"You will need armor I think. And a Helmet. And something to bite down on, perhaps leather"

lol:lol:

I enjoy the change. Much more striking than "the big human"-style we saw in Sten. :)

I thought Sten was joking but looking at the re-designed Qunari, I'm starting to think he meant what he said, literally. On a side note, I like the re-designed Qunari, they look more...fantastical - ludicrously odd. They do seem like fierce exotic warriors, naturally so, from exotic Par Vollen (or at least I imagine it to be very very exotic).

So I'm not gonna dig through 20 pages to see if anyone already asked this, but could that be a party member?

that concept art could also represent one type of the warrior castes, or maybe even the arishokk himself

I think it could, especially considering this concept art:

Sure looks like a Qunari there on the left. No official word, though.

Ah, but there's a difference between "able to have sex with" and "and to reproduce with", no?

according to the qun'ari philosophy, everything has it's purpose.
they are a very pratical people so sex for them i imagine it's more for reproducing that the pleasure itself.

I think that the horned qunaris are the qunaris "alfa-males".

But then they would be a small percentage of the population, wouldn't they?  We've just been told that Qunari without horns are the ones that are less common.

maybe these hornless qun'ari have a better chance to spy on another country by infiltrating a battlefield, aside from the horns they look like very tall humans and on the battlefield what's one more soldier?
a horned qun'ari would have a lot more trouble infiltrating a country to spy on it.

I must say, I preffered them simply being a taller dark skinned race.

But hey, I'll learn to live with it (besides only some have horns)

I dunno, unless their horns can grow in a variety of directions, the horns on the guy in this picture look more like they're coming from a horned helmet. They're pointing outwards like cattle horns.

On another note, it's interesting to point out that the screenshots have "Qunari swordsman" in their filename, which seems to indicate to me that either we'll be fighting a lot of generic Qunari swordsman, or that this is a unique NPC whose current codename is "the swordsman".

Dear Mr Gaider, given the disciplines of the Qun, is there connotation behind a red tatoo?

So do the baby qunari have proportionately large horns at birth, or small unformed horns? If they have the proportionate versions, the female qunaris must have super high pain tolerance. Image IPB

Animals with horns are never born with them.  They grow.

Cool, but horn ruin them, make them somehow look like Hellboy that paint his body color to be like Kratos.

how would horns ruin them? i think it's a nice touch

and it makes sense that they have horns due to their darkspawn counterparts having them as well

It's just matter of opinion, i'm not sure, but it's look somewhat like demon mixed with giant to me.

At any rate, after all, i'm fine with it, glad to see they gave Qunari new look though.

like i said maybe the qun'ari use the hornless like sten as infiltrators in foreign countries as they have a far better chance of passing unnoticed than the horned ones. who would notice a really tall soldier in a battlefield?

That's interesting but unlikely, i migh say it's relate to their belief or culture maybe even a difference in their race.

for example why i disagree, even you brought Sten with you everywhere ingame, many people doesn't have idea what he is, they're assume "giant" or "very tall and big man" and that's only happend in Ferelden, beside if they're sort of spy, why when Warden ask Sten purpose of coming to Ferelden, he get the answer.

So i guess if they're cut it off just for spying purpose, it doesn't make sense, talk about lore-wise, their war with the rest of Thedas already over and have declared peace, though in someplace they're not welcome, I don't think they're even bother to need spy though their purpose are for watching other country they're free to walk and go anywhere.

OMFG, this looks badass! When i first saw Dragon Age, i thought the Qunari were just a race full of black people. Please be a member of our squad! The red paint or blood on the body looks realistic.

Screw Human's, i wanna play as this beast! I wonder what the women are like? Six-pack on their breasts.

Can we play as the Qunari in dlc please?

Ok at first i was fearful, but it looks good and their explanation was satisfactory, but i am a little afraid of the re designing of the Elves and Dwarves although the Elves i am sure could only be for the better. :P
