It is explained enough that Ogre are just HUGE - but I can't see nowhere in the lore that anyone has seen such a Qunari - this looks like a Minotaur - >.<
And don't tell me the other races are blind

Some body else said this but I thought it was relevant. "The horns would explain why the Qunari Broodmothers spawn ogres "

That would presuppose the notion that qunari and humans could interbreed... and/or the possibility that qunari had encountered humans prior to coming to Thedas, wouldn't it? Anything is possible.Funny_chan wrote...
Could the hornless qunari be the product of the traditional (horned) qunari + human mix?
It's the continent/known world.aragfore03 wrote...

When i talked about unlikeliness of it i was commenting just on the skin colour part actuallyLadyAly wrote...
Its a rather ... radical change in my eyes.
Fact is - Sten has set a mark how a Qunari has to look alike - right ?
And now suddenly horns ??? Claws ??? other Colors???
I agree heartily with tmp7704 in this case - there is no lore behind to define this change.
The new design is awesome - but why not make a new Race - before throw all over board what we had in Origins ??

I haven't really commented on anything about DA2 or the new art style (which already got me worried when I saw the new darkspawn) but this is just incredible ridiculous..

Being fair to BW this had been discused when it was learned Ogres came from Quanri Broodmothers. I think they had said something about character models or equipment. Now I´m thinking about the Klingon head ridge...

Personally, I thought the darkspawn looked AWEFUL in the those early screenshots, but seeing them in the video of DA2's comic con demo, they didn't look that bad at all in motion in the game. They looked better than they did in DAO.Behindyounow wrote...
I would've been ok with the changes with the Darkspawn if actually looked cooler, instead of just plain stupid.
The changes in the Qunari? Awesome. They just looked like tall elves in DA:O.
