C'mon, you've spent enough time with her model to know that her hips are pretty much like that, right?
And the seemingly enlarged front-end is merely thanks to the angle.

edit: But then again, the cloths at her front tend to make them seem smaller (as they wrap around her waist too, leaving some space in between making waist-to-hip ratio seem slightly less extreme):

has anyone ever done a playthrough where they havent romanced tali? i dont think id be able to (unless of course i play as femshep which is unlikely)
