I dig chicks with hoods. Masks? Even better. Add belts, straps, and the perfect ass? I'm sold.
Hell, give her a cape and it's not even a matter of choice for me.

Backlit in the context of that article means the light is hitting a different part of the sensor, not that there is a seperate light shining on the back. Bioluminescence would ruin night vision and let prey see you coming.Thundertactics wrote...
It honestly doesn't matter if they're tapetum lucidum or bioluminescent, both would mess up the center of your vision equally. (In fact, bioluminescence has a smaller chance of doing this, as the more consistent exposure would allow them to adapt more appropriately. Hence why noone has ever manufactered a hyper reflective CMOS sensor, but backlit ones are suddenly all the rage.)
Besides, geth have heavily backlit eyes too, these might've been based on the way their creators eyes work.

Yes.
But no where near as much as I dig hooded alien girls with form fitting hazmat suits, rotund hips, supple breasts, and a perfectly sculpted ass. Also, the fingers and toes are adorable.
Doesn't hurt that I love her personality and character development.

And with another tight suit I might add.
It looks so good when Kasumi and Tali walks with Shepard to the Hammerhead in the cargo hold.

Respectable. Again, I was sorta just hung up on your use of the word "pining", even though it's generally true, it makes her seem...weak. As if not romancing her would be more detrimental than it has to be. Idk, that's just me.
But you bring up a good point about choices. In some games you make a choice and it invalidates all the alternate stories. That is, reality is just plain completely different based on your choice. ME2 isn't exactly like that in regards to the choice of LI. There's no sense that the people left by the wayside are doing their own thing happily, unaware that the option was even there. No: each one is left waiting for some attention, their place unfulfilled.
The way the dialogues are constructed make it worse with Tali's discussion of linking suits and such as her post-loyalty dialogue. It's clear she wants more, wants to belong. Whereas Jack is like "thanks Shep, you're not such an ****" and I feel like "okay, she's going to be alright even without someone."

Yeah, I know. And it is one of the main reasons I hope they don't introduce any new romances in the third game (I want them to develop the 9 they've already made)

Welcome to Mass Effect. A dozen squaddies and 2 fully voiced protagonists.
Or have more lengthy convos with a silent Warden. We can't win!

Silent Warden standing still, staring blankly into space would be hilarous in Mass Effect.

And it makes Shepard look like a space giggolo if he constantly switches romances, just because there is someone new on the team.
Nah, let's stick with Tali. It's the best way.

I have at least one Shepard who had sex with everything possible. He ended up with Tali, of course. But it was a wild ride getting there.Someone With Mass wrote...

Yes, I've thought about it as well. For Bioware's sake, they can't write the romance stories where one person is "fixed" because if you try a different romance or a play a different gender, you'd feel like me; dead inside. You also have to have progression in the romance, where the two come out happier or better people, right? Not an envious writing job, now that I think about it. With Tali, I've never rejected her, but I have a feeling that dead feeling will come back

What would you guys prefer? Would you give up Shepard's VA for more Tali dialogue?
I'd actually say no.
