And yeah, I'm definitely with you on the Thane part.  This is a guy who can literally summon up his wife at any moment.  She's gone obviously, but he can relive all that they had.  He must be deeply affected as hell by femShep to want to start something new with her.

Likewise, Jacks existence is devoted to avoiding injury, both physical and emotional.  To be willing to let someone inside all her defenses is an act of trust as enormous as Tali being willing to breath poison just to be with the one she loves.  And Jack doesn't have the benefit of being well-adjusted to help with the decision.

Agreed. I've yet to see them fully but that was what the truthiness told me. You could say Tali's got emotional and physical barriers to knock down, I just like to think it's not always Shepard who's doing it.

So I'm not just sitting in my corner over here sayings "LALALALA, there's only Tali, LALALALA."

Sadly, this is the path many follow.

I've put thought into it.  I just like the story I'm already playing better.

Neither can -most- of us, still, this being the Tali thread, I guess the general consensus is along with my personal favorite: TALI TEE PLZ!
Seriously, the Garrus folks get a freaking poster and lithograph, there has already been a geth/Legion tee at one point, meanwhile, we Talimancers get a figurine in the absolute worst pose ever. (Pretty much her static, non-animated pose, including the oddly held shotgun)
