Good to see you CC. Thread's moving along at a modest pace. Jones and I are about 2/3rds of the way done with the next Reckoning Chapter, and all is well.
This is good news.

Tali Cuddles are the best Cuddles...
Anyone in the mood for D'awww?
Shepard woke up. The world felt hazy. Turning his head to look at the clock, he was instantly aware of a weight on his chest. Tali was curled up into a ball, one leg wrapped around his thighs, both arms holding onto him, and her entire front cuddled up to his side, her head resting on him just below the neck. Shepard couldn't help but suppress a drowzy grin. Lifting his head ever so slightly, Shepard peared over Tali's mask, checking the time. Two in the morning, Standard Citadel Time. Resting back against his pillow, Shepard felt Tali stirring in her sleep at the slight movement. She seemed to grip at Shepard even more tightly under the covers. Even in her sleep, her embrace was firm. Nuzzling her helmated head against his chest, Tali muttered in her sleep, the words coming out a slurred mess, heavy with accent and sleep.
"Don't go. Not again."
Shepard felt his gaze go soft. Gently, he wrapped an arm around Tali's shoulders, pulling her as close as possible without waking her. After a moment, her grip on him slackened a bit, her nuzzling even more against his steadily beating heart. Shepard smiled slightly as he rested his chin against the top of her helmet, the soft cloth of her hood smooth and cool to the touch. He wasn't going anywhere.
Shepard slowly drifted off to sleep, dreaming of neither prothean extinctions nor endless falling through space. His dreams were of feeling. A warmth in the heart that had no name, a feeling of complete and utter contentment that neither sight nor sound could adequately describe. It was a fire that was only felt, a weight in his arms that seemed to somehow fullful him. He was no longer empty, but whole.
