I don't know, hold up some salted squid with chopsticks in front of her face, she'd probably scream murder that you're eating a baby hanar.

"Cookies" in dat accent? HNNNNG!

That's a bit... suggestive, don't you think?

Unless it's that time of the night again, in which I am okay with.

What's so wrong with licking the dough off her fingers?

I thought that'd be adorable...

And if there's subtext to it, then, yeah. Bonus points.

"When you do things right people will wonder if you've done anything at all."

Okay, I can understand that 'the day everything went right' doesn't really make for a good story, and I can even see one or two little hiccups in Cerberus's operation as no system is perfect, but it seems like every other day Shepard is being called in to to fix something Cerberus was too stupid or incompetent to fix themselves, let alone decide not to do in the first place.
Seriously, how did these people make it as far as they have?

Jones has his 'repostan', I have my 'repostun'.
----

Music

*Normandy's briefing room: Minutes before the final assault on harbinger, Shepard's crew awaits their heroic captains words before taking on their last, impossible task*

Shepard: Look around you. Among the crew of one  of the most advanced human war ships, we have a tenacious fire team leader who's Turian. A chief engineer and skilled tech expert who's Quarian. We've got Asari, Drell, Krogan, Solarian and even Geth. Mercenaries and vigilanties... All brothers & sisters in arms.

Here in this galaxy, some of you in this room may have expierienced discrimination due to species or cree...but for you and me now...all of that is gone.

We are moving into the valley of the shadow of death. Where you will watch the back of the man next to you, as they will watch yours. And you won't care what species they are, or what name they call their diety.

They say all hope is gone... *shakes head*...Hope is here in this room, in the form of the best interspecies combat squad this galaxy's ever known...

...You all know the situation. We are going into battle, against a genocidal, ancient, and determined enemy.

...I can't promise you, that I will bring you all home alive...But this I swear. Before you and all the gods in the universe... That when we go into battle, I will be the first to step off the Normandy...And I will be the last to step on...

...And I will leave No one behind...Dead, or alive...we will all come home together.

...So help me God.

...Everyone, prepare to move out.

*Everyone nods quietly and leaves room, except Tali*

Tali: ...You've always been good with words...

Shepard: Yeah...I just hope I can fulfill those words...

Tali: *Hugs Shepard gently* ...You will, you always do.

Shepard: *Returning hug* ...With you by my side, I have to, and I will... I love you.

Tali: *Hugs tighter* ...And I love you.

See... This right here? This is the part where, if I knew you on a face-to-face basis, I would insist that we go out and I show you real food.

Then I present this challenge. You must cook the real food, the best food for Tali'Zorah. Show her what it means to be human and enjoy the good stuff.

Just assume she takes a Benadryl first and doesn't have a horrible allergic reaction.

So what's for dinner?

The best option would be a seafood medly, all native fish from Rannoch to best avoid anything she might not agree with. Salad, also.

Hmm...

Without knowing exactly what can be found on Rannoch's surface, I can't really expand the menu.

Something with lots of fat. Fat/grease/oil makes everything taste better and I bet those paste tubes have next to no fat in them.

Interesting.....

Well, maybe TIM is going for maximum exploitation while he has Shepard doign his bidding? Instead of sending in there own opertives, or doign it the long, slow but quite method they have a fall guy to pin it on?
Also really with the type of work Cerberus does do you really think they could go 100% zero mistakes all the time?

ETA: Also, are we talking baked, grilled, fried, or raw fish here? There's this fish my mother gets at the market that I only know as mystery fish. It's still pretty good when fried, though.

Indeed.
I'd say it was a part of the inspiration for the name, probably like turian and the Roman centurions.

You're from New York. Pizza is what you guys do.

Besides, I'm more of a sushi kind of guy. Raw fish, eel, you name it, I've had it.

Anyway, this is off topic. So. Bleh.

I wonder if Tali would like sea food...

We had an interesting discussion a while back on morning about food for Tali (barring dextro-issues).  I suggested sushi, since it'd be pretty mild and subtle in flavor.  Maybe ama-ebi first since it's benign, then stronger-flavored unagi, then tempura roll for texture, and something sweet like inari-zushi to finish things off.

Then dessert.

Oh God...

Make things harder, why don't you?

...****.

Maybe something with more flavor over seafood... Something with red meat, assuming such a thing exists on Rannoch...

Dessert as well... Berries with some sweet cream? Maybe a nice soft cheese rather than cream and some kind of sugared cruton...?

****! Too many things to choose from!
