Just bringing this back from a couple of pages ago. This is not true, Tali does know the difference between the heretics and the true geth, to some extent:Phil725 wrote...
First of all, neither Shala, nor anyone else in the galaxy outside of Shep know about the difference between the heretic and true geth. We haven't seen anyone's opinion on a potential difference, because as far as anyone knows, Legion is just another one of those geth that randomly hijack ships and turn people into husks.
So it's just one of the friendly geth, that drove our people from our homeworld? /Snark
Aaaand, I'm off again.
Well by Shep I meant the rest of the team as well. Unfortunately, the game treats it like Tali doesn't know much about the friendly geth unless I'm mistaken. We don't hear nearly enough dialogue from her with/regarding Legion

Which is such bull****...
Shepard: By the way, I've been talking with Legion lately. It claims that the geth want to broker peace with the quarians and that they've been rebuilding Rannoch since the Morning War. In fact, they don't even live there.
Tali: ... What?

You know what's even worse? They wanted Legion to be a part of the main story. Well, too bad that it all feels rushed when he's introduced like three mission away from the end of the game.
They should have sticked with having most teammates (including Legion and Tali) recruitable from the very start. The way it is now feels just like something half-assed and poorly executed.

The whole making your crew die off if you don't save his mission for last thing certainly didn't help either
though i think we can all agree that dialogue in general needed a ton more time and effort put into it. The quality of what was there was good, but there just wasn't nearly enough of it

Indeed.
They should have made that "private conversation" available to the player. It would help a lot.
The second Tali is onboard the Normandy, Legion is never mentioned again if you don't count their encounter with each other? I don't buy it. And I really don't think Tali would drop something like that so easily, just because Shepard said it's okay.

I suppose it all falls under suspension of disbelief, because there is no way that Tali wouldn't be questioning Legion for all of the info she could get. There's no reason for her not to be, aside from Bioware needing to save stuff from ME3.

Garrus took the lead in this poll again it seems.
I'm fine either way.
BW should just take the leading three and make t-shirts of them.
Not that I think I'll buy any of them, but still.
Agreed, while I question whether or not any actual result will come from this poll, it would be pretty stupid to sit there and say; "Tali only got 400 votes in a day opposed to 405 for Garrus, I guess no one wants a Tali shirt after all." Then again, the fact that there is no Tali merchandise in the first place is pretty stupid, so who knows

To be honest, I wouldn't buy any ME-related "fan" merchandise.

Yeah, it feels better when it's done by professionals.

Oh, I didn't mean it that way!
I meant the usual fan merchandise, t-shirts, posters, etc., like with any popular bands or such. That kind of merchandise.

Indeed, it's her fucking static pose without animation skeleton applied, complete with ridiculously held shotgun.Calinstel wrote...
I still say that figurine of Tali looks like she just took a round to the chest. Action figure? More like stupid pose.
I'm sorry, but that's lazy beyond belief, at first I thought she'd be articulated to some extent, no way BioWare/DC would pull that shit on us, but I was wrong... <_<
As for a topic, anyone have a clue as for what the curved shins are for?
As this is pretty much non-existant for mammals on earth (the closest thing are some dogs, but it's still a pretty far stretch), in fact, the first thing you'll see when searching "curved shins" on Google is a Tali image...
I'd reckon it'd help with the adorable bouncing (adding to the fact that her shins are connected directly to the balls of her feet) as the muscles there would be considerably longer, and would allow the quarians to exert more force/longer movements on that area of their feet.
But aside from that, it just doesn't make any sense. (Doesn't really help either that they're not the only ME species that have this leg structure...)
And no, they would not help for leaping, as that'd require curved thighs (kangaroos show this to an extreme), though the direct connection to the balls of their feet would.
fake edit: Actually, thinking about it, it would allow them to jump higher in place. Tali could probably pull of some epic dunks.

Possible. Again, no real world analogy, so hard to test, but definitely a possibility.Calinstel wrote...
It is possible the curved shins would allow more flexing of the bone, easing the pounding the knee joints in long distance running?
That said, no offense, but Tali running is not exactly the most graceful thing in the whole the game.
Not to mention, the curved shins would also mean that they can't traverse as much distance per step while retaining stability (They can't stretch their legs fully while still landing [flat on/at the tip of] their feet) and waste a lot of energy while doing so. (Again with the longer muscles)

Though the steps are smaller and the gait abit ugainly to our eyes it would mean that those powerful thigh muscles would be behind every push. Be a hell of a juggernaut running flat out.Thundertactics wrote...

Indeed, but she'd be a hell of a lot faster with "regular" shins.Calinstel wrote...

Actually... Powerful, but short steps + Increased jumping ability =

EDIT: Hmm, the person who made the last gif set it to loop only 32 times, time to fix that:

I CAN SEE INFINITYYYYYYY!

Would be an awesome introduction as well. If she ends up sitting on Shep's stomach while he's on the floor.
Her way to say hi.

Tali: Shepard! *runs and glomps him*
Shepard:wha..?..WHOAH!*falls to floor with Tali atop him*
Tali:Hi!...did you miss me?
