It would help in the analysis if we knew where the Perseus Veil was actually. Was the system behind the veil? If so, that's deep in geth space so no patrols by anyone except geth.

The codex says that the Alliance (or some other military) are using stealthed spy drones to...well, spy on the geth. Maybe Cerberus picked up a signal from one of those when it had left geth space.

I'll take my explanation for myself, thank you. B)

Well we know a lot of stuff happens offscreen. I see no reason it can't be true.

Actually, your minific is the only explanation I have seen that would work/be feasible.  I know if it had been an option in the game to tag the shuttle my shepard would have put two of those suckers on it.

*brofist*

Guddamn right.

Way I figure it, Tali would have had to return to the migrant fleet, then would of had to go to Haestrom. Knowing what we do about FTL, this could have taken a while. Once she got to Haestrom, the tag would've gone to Shepard, likely during Horizon, but as we all know, nothing gets onto the Normandy without TIM knowing. Knowing Shepard is going to go after Tali no matter what he says, he hands Shepard the Dossier, to make it seem like he supports the idea.

I'm content with my explanation.

So...a ship is tagged with a tracking beacon, returns to the flotilla, and no one aboard the 50 000 ships picked up that signal?

I don't know what category that falls into. Deus ex machina?

Whatever keeps your ship floating...

Jones! good to see you so early. Working on editing now... going over the whole chapter... adding things...

Should have done it piecemeal like this from the start... allows me to be much more thorough.

It's Spectre class Gear. Cerberus can get the best stuff available, and they know what Shepard uses.

It's off until she lands, or that's what I got from Rip's story.

Fantastic.

I'm sorry I didn't get it finished.

Once I hit that wall, I'm pretty much useless for the rest of the night...

Apologies.

What I understood as well, until it lands on a planet it's silent.

I didn't expect you to finish.

But we have ALL DAY today.

At least, I do.

If you're stuck, let me know. I'll see what I can do.

If you want to get technical.

Simple explanation? Shepard has the best tech on the market. Either way. Doesn't really matter.

And still better than TIM pulling it out of his arse.

Okay, here's one. How can Shepard be sure that they are going to use the same ship again? It could might as well stayed in the hangar for a maintenance check, while Tali and her crew took another ship to Haestrom.

Obviously he could not.  It's still a chance I would have taken had I the opportunity.

Tali's the best damn mechanic in the fleet. She keeps her gear/ship in top shape,

Hah. Even if that's the case, it could've taken them days or even weeks to get their next assignment/prepare for it. Someone else might as well taken it if it's in such a great condition. No reason for it to just collect dust (or whatever they have in space) when there are probably other quarians who needs a ship to go out on Pilgrimage or on a mission.
