I highly doubt any of the Mass Effect 2 squad is going to get any character specific DLC (the only character who could probably get away with this without a giant shitstorm would be Garrus)

It doesn't matter. The Virmire Survivor fans would still b!tch and moan about how they never get any special DLC.

I think BioWare kind of painted themselves into a corner with the Virmire Survivor situation.  Now whatever they do with VS, they have to do twice the voice acting for less impact on the fanbase.  I expect they'll suck it up and do something to placate VS fans in ME3, but I really don't expect any DLC.

I could be wrong.  I am speculating like everyone else, after all.

Then again, who wants brag about having a t-shirt with his ugly mug on it?
Or his corny/infamous quote?

I gotta say I would buy a coffee mug that said "But the Priiiiiize" on it.

T-shirt and cargo shorts even in the dead of winter over here.  One of the reasons I use the utilities casual outfit for Shep.  Can't imagine wanting to spend much time in a dress uniform.

I wear long sleeves and jeans in 100F+  weather in the middle of summer.

I wonder how many people hate Kasumi because she prefers the Tali/Shepard or Garrus/Shepard ships =/

That might be reading into it a bit much.  Though it's fascinating that she has other-than-totally-positive opinions depending on the LI.

I was always struck by how she wasn't too keen on Thane.

And she IS keen on Jacob.

It's nice to hear different opinions from the squadmates.

Damnit, ok, last off-topic post, but really, there's stuff to be concerned about.

Even in the Vegas heat, I had to wear long sleeves and pants. For days where I was out all day, a hat, shades, and a mask are necessary. I honestly couldn't imagine living like that 24/7 like Tali does.

As for my Casual attire on the Normandy, I go with the lab coat, since it covers the most skin, and I like long flowing jackets and such.

I went with the captain uniform/the suit Kasumi bought for a while. but then I thought: "Why shoud I be so special? If the rest of the crew can dress up in something so casual, why can't I?"

And I've never liked the lab coat for male Shep. It makes him look like a dork.

I know a lot of people like the formal suit or the lab coat (or even the gay biker outfit) because it doesn't have Cerb logos. I figure it's just clothes, though, and the captain probably should go out of his way to set himself apart from the crew that hopefully will come to trust and follow him.

Edit:  And as for Tali's hate of Cerberus, well, she knows better than most to look beyond what a person is wearing.

I personally could get used to an air conditioned, self-contained hazmat suit. Being biologically required to wear it in order to survive for just about your entire life would be frustrating. However, from the perspective of a human, I think it would be a great convenience, and want one. :D

I like the lab coat for two main reasons. It looks comfortable, and it doesn't have the Cerberus Logo on it. It was between that and that dorky Carth outfit, and I pick the lab coat.

I also like Kasumi's formal wear, so I switch out for that from time to time.

I wouldn't mind being in one for a while, but my entire life? No way.
Moving to get this slightly closer to Tali, I really hope there's a way to get her out of the suit more often so she can actually life her life...

Agreed, the problem lies in the necessity to always be wearing anything.  The suits themselves are versatile and useful enough that I see the quarians using them long after they are no longer necessary.

I hear there's a way to unlock all of those costumes.  I should go in tomorrow and set it up, I think.

Honestly? I want this to be possible, but it has to have VERY specific requirements. Example:

Tali and Legion loyal and alive, Rannoch Reclaimed peacefully, Mordin Loyal and Alive, geth convinced to not upload to Reaper and to instead help Quarian reconstruction, Collector Base Saved, Tali not exiled, Heretics saved.

Of course, I also support very specific endings in general.

Reclaiming Rannoch is all it takes.   The rest of the process is just time, and it only gets easier as time passes :)

To try one out for a couple of days would be cool. Not to mention that I can take a ****** wherever I want, whenever I want. Although, I think it would take me some time to get used to not be able to feel anything with my skin besides the suit.

Yikes.

Though it would be fascinating to have that kind of granularity w/ regards to outcomes.  Dunno if they'd do that.  I suspect a great deal of how the game will be decided will have to come from ME3 itself.  You know, so that the latecomers to the series don't get left out.  *rolleyes.jpg*

I've always had an idea of how to solve the immune system problem... Not sure if people would like it, though. Never seen it suggested anywhere else and it seems fairly obvious to me...

I still choose to believe the suits have some kind of tactile feel simulator, regardless of what may be said in game.  It's just too useful and technologically feasible for the quarians to have not incorporated it into the suit design.

I'm sure they do but it's not real.  That's what Tali wants, she wants  it to be real.

That would be a great way to breake the trend of always rewarding the Paragons and punishing the Renegades, though.

I agree with this a million times over.

I want there to be benefits and drawbacks to both.

Like Bhelen and Harrowmont. Either way, that was a grey choice.

Well what do you suppose the geth have been doing for 300 years besides cleaning the homeworld? Maybe the reason they didn't make contact until now is they were attempting to create a 'peace offering' of a healthy immune system for quarians? I don't know. It's probably too farfetched for anything in game but at least it won't cause raging like biological children...
