Of course they aren't going to go at it when she's still recovering. Shepard can wait. Doesn't mean they can't just spend the night holding eachother while she gets over her reaction. You don't need to have sex every single night for romance to work.

Okay, I've reached the point where I'm explaining a joke which proves it was a horrible joke on my part. So I must apologize.

You were joking?

Nevermind then.

We don't know if they did it. Remember, Tali mentions that the infections are area-based. Tali had a bad cough and sinus infection.

I think, whether they had sex or not, is entirely up to the viewer.

You don't take antibiotics/herbal supplements, do weeks of research, just to have a make out session before a suicide mission.

I dunno, just my thoughts. But I digress.

I was thinking the other day of just how well the Tali LI storyline was written. It really was a very walking-on-egg-shells kind of situation, requiring some very clever development. The writers had to be sooooo careful because of the immune system thing. Since Tali's life is actually endangered, she has to be the one to initiate the entire romance, because if there's even a chance that it might look like Shepard was pressuring her into anything, he would have looked like a complete D-bag, and the whole romance would have been tainted. As it is, they struck what is, in my opinion, the perfect balance: Tali nervously leads, Shepard reassuringly follows.
^_^

well said, yes bioware did an excellent job with the tali romance

It does beg the question, how often does Shepard and his/her chosen romance engage in any sort of intimacy, foreplay, cuddling, whatever your sexually starved minds can think of to pass time?

I doubt any of the characters would enjoy being smothered at any given oppurtunity.

I said that.

Should send a memo to the flotilla.

Migrant Fleet Bulletin: Improve immune system: Mingle with humans.

Humanity: Give us yer wimminz.

Now I understand why we hardly ever see female aliens and why humans are disliked. The only other race where we do see the women, quarians, they are lusted for on the internet. Alien men hate competition.

Yeah, it's like theirs an alien golden rule.

"Leave your wife/girlfriend at home, locked away, for a human will probably try to woo her if she see's the light of day.

Side note: This rule does not exempt: Turian, Krogan, Drell or Hanar."

LMAO! :lol::lol:
I would like to see a Krogan female. How would be one? Difficult to guess...

Just about everyone is happy with the romance.

I'd say pulling that off is plain amazing.

must... resist temptation...  to make raunchy Tali  related sex joke.... aww the hell with it.

I hope they took  Mordins  advice  about   Quarian/human fluid contact and ingestion.

Yes i know i know, dirty(through this is nothing REALLY dirty about it) but if we are going to promote  Quarian/.Human relations we must promote safety first.  Remember this is Commander Shepherd  and the Daughter of the great Ra'al  Zorah they are role models  and roles models must preach  safety first

Its up to the viewer for all of the ME2 romances really.  Tali is just the one that gets questioned the most.  Personally, I don't know how anyone could look at the facts and question any of them, but I choose to believe plenty of outlandish stuff that isn't proven untrue myself, so who am I to judge

I kind of like that they they chose this direction for the romance and didn't make it very explicit. With many of the characters, they leave just enough backstory to make things interesting to see/read while still leaving room for conjecture. (Legion is a good example of this.)

Personally, I think they just kiss.

The Tali romance, on my point of view, starts wen Kelly says you ''The way how she looks at you'' at a specific conversation. I got curious and went to talk with her. Then everything started. And i loved it. <3

hm, cant you order your squadmates to certain positions?

My ability to do so in an effective manner is hideously poor. Which is why every strategy thread I write is titled "Worst ___ Ever." Once I start giving position orders to my squadmates, I'm stuck doing it for the rest of the battle. This annoys me, so I don't do it often.

I thought so, too.

Garrus' romance is the least indicative of sex, in my opinion, but people still love to imagine what they want.

The romance, for me, started when I first saw Tali, saw the hood, the suit, and her blowing things up, and decided, You know what? That's hot. I wanna check that out. It became solidified when I got to know her and she became my favorite character. It became canon, when I elected to either hold out for a romance with her in a later game, or romance no one for the entire trilogy.

Much of the awesomeness of The Tali Romance is due to the fact that you didn't have the option to romance her in the first game and how much deeper her backstory was.

When I first played ME2, I had no idea I could romance Tali or get her as a Squad Member. When Kelly said that I was so goddamn happy.. I never romanced any other LI in ME2 since then ^_^

Me too.  I think sex with her immune system the way it is is REALLY pushing it.  Crazy makeout kissing is probably what Tali went for.

I agree.

Agree on the wooing part? Or the non-wooing part? Hmmm... judging by your character, I think you're agreeing with the wooing part.

Even if it was just meant as a make out session, which personally, is vorcha ass, the pent up hormones would doom them both to go all the way. It's apparent humans and aliens tend to think/feel the same emotions. Like riding a bike, you intend to go around the block once, maybe twice, but then out of sheer urge, you go further. Eventually you go around the entire neighbor hood.

Wait, I just involved a bicycle analogy with making love. Awesome.

My sex comments would probably make more sense if you knew they were coming from a girl.
