Silly quotes does not denote understanding.  I'm just asking what makes sense to power the suits.

Good enough for me!

Also I just found out that Legion is voiced by D.C. Douglas, AKA Albert Wesker, AKA COMPLETE GLOBAL SATURATION.  Jawsome.

But science fiction is based on the extrapolation of known sciences.  Just saying they use a very efficient battery is not too far fetched and implies they could swap them out if needed.  As it stands, ME is sciFantasy.
The quarian suits need to function, need power.  Rebreathers, waste handling, their visors are shown to use power.  So a power source is required.

Yeah, and stuff like that is what I would love to see explained in detail (the quarian suits in general mainly.)  Speculation is one thing, but its probably the best we'll get considering that it just doesn't seem important enough for Bioware to go into detail about.  I guess its more of a damnation of the specific medium than anything else.  Video games that are striving to be the top seller of a particular year probably aren't the best place for an advanced and realistic sci fi binge.

Is it universal or does Tali run on Dextro badassium #2?

Okay, I can accept that.  This was just a general question really in what people thought.  Think I'll go with the regenerative feedbacks.  :)

*shrug*

I dunno.

The suits are, by their very nature, masterpieces of engineering.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some extremely convoluted yet efficient method of powering their functions.

Yeah, more specifically to the question, I don't have close to the knowledge needed to form a real opinion, so future tech it is for me :pinched:

At this moment, it can run on dextro-Tupari for all I care.

I'm guessing the same power source that powers the guns, and everythign else, I'm guessing advance cold fusion. Thane mentioned, that they didn't invent fusion power before there fall, so IO guess that means Humanity had it at the time they found the prothian ruins on mars, or it was a product from that advance.

I must apologize I see. I have been reading SciFi for over 40 years and I get a little focused on it at times.

I honestly was just curious what others thought powered the suits.

No big deal.

I'm kind of used to developers and writers leaving gaps around.

Sure, it sucks, but I don't think it takes anything away from the story.

Anyway, Tali.

I really wish Asimov or Clarke could have written about the quarians.  There would be detail aplenty then.

Especially when they're creating an entirely new world. There are bound to be gaps here and there.

God, how I wish that was so...

Just a little more, BioWare... That's all... Preferably involving Tali.

Almost done my newest one-shot. It's the longest yet! Over a thousand words longer than my previous longest one-shot: A Biotic on Mindoir.

Mass Effect does a pretty good job of explaining the mechanics and stuff behind the various species and technology. Just don't look into too much, or you will probably go insane at the stuff that doesn't make any sense.

The asari drive me bonkers, you see.

If you want a complete list, go to TVTropes.

It'll make you cry.

I like to think of the asari as a handwave on Bioware's part saying "I know they make no sense, but its complete fanservice/a shout out to a persuasion of sci fi aliens, so we're letting it go."  It makes them a lot less ridiculous

Okay, the mere mention of TvTropes killed the thread....

So, do you believe quarian's descended from predator or prey on their world?
