Okay, the mere mention of TvTropes killed the thread....

So, do you believe quarian's descended from predator or prey on their world?

Predator.

Read Quarian Relationship Guide in my blog. I explain my theories on this.

Looks like Tali is once again beating Garrus in the poll. I guess at this point they should just stick both of those two on there =p

Predator, clearly.

Any race that grew and developed to travel the stars and build AI probably didn't need to deal with flying sharks or anything else potentially horrific.

Doesn't their position now imply that they were the dominant species on their planet?  Or at least that they came out on top in some evolutionary fashion?

I've always subscribed to the predatory quarian theory personally.

I think, unless Bioware says otherwise, we've kinda established Predator as fanon...

*enters thread*
judging by their skeletal structure(curved tibia) muscular legs, and upper body muscle mass (lack of) they are bipedal predators.

Fanon is canon.

Like the twin-tongues thing.

I don't think I've ever seen it called fanon.
Or you make that face.
I agree with both. Prehensile tongue ftw. :innocent:

Okay, the two tongues thing, while definately sexy as hell, I'm not so big on. We have some slight evidence that quarians would make good predators, as their skeletal structure looks based on a form similar to Earth Predators. The tongue thing, we have less info for.

However, I'd TOTALLY be cool with it all the same. <3

They're krogan.

"Unrest" is like their default mood.

My guess is that the common ancestor of the quarians were four-legged predators with razor sharp teeth. I'm thinking... Anyone ever read the halo graphic novel? There is a creature that comes to mind.

Come to think of it, them and the batarians have a reputation for being warmongers.

The batarians didn't have to be neutered to keep them from killing the rest of the galaxy.
