My guess is that the common ancestor of the quarians were four-legged predators with razor sharp teeth. I'm thinking... Anyone ever read the halo graphic novel? There is a creature that comes to mind.

Who, the Grunt? They have quite some teeth under those masks.Posted Image

The batarians didn't have to be neutered to keep them from killing the rest of the galaxy.

That won't stop them from trying, though.

Okay, the mere mention of TvTropes killed the thread....

So, do you believe quarian's descended from predator or prey on their world?

Predators. As evidenced by their curved legs. They're good for... Pouncing.

Shepard knows. He's seen things that no other human has. Tasted it too.Posted Image

read it, not sure what your referring to, you could be reffering to any of the covenant, unggoy, sangheili?kig yar?

During the crash of the Infinite succor, they were the animals (Possibly flood infected) That killed the two engineers (Forgot name)

Yep. Racial profiling and near-complete isolation did that:wizard:

I just hope Shepard doesn't ****** Tali off. Because I doubt the poor human will be able to outrun a quarian.

The batarians were responsible 75 percent. Other races were behind it.

Who says she would even need to chase him?  There's a quarian death glare for a reason

No. It was flood INFECTED. Not an actual flood like the zombified human.

True, feet and legs built for speed, humans have endurance.

Regardless, it is the turian who should worry about outrunning the quarian.

Turians descended from birds and dinosaurs. Depends.

While possible, I don't see it as too likely.  The quarians look to have a lot stronger legs in comparison to the rest of their bodies, and the quarians don't nearly as large upper bodies to haul around.

Tali's reaction on Freedom's Progress is understandable.  Imagine seeing someone who you watched die 2 years ago, someone very important to you who's death you have put behind you.  Seeing Shep there on what was supposed to be a simple pick up mission would be a complete shock.  Just imagine what's going through her head there;  "Is this really Shepard, is he the same as two years ago, why's he with Cerberus?  Am I imagining this?"  She had a mission that she had to accomplish.  Given more time, I think her reaction would have been a lot better.

Shep's reaction is the one I didn't like.  If I woke up after two years surrounded by Cerberus and just randomly bumped into my best friend, I'm hugging them :pinched:

yeah sheps reaction threw me off too, i liked his reaction to garrus' reveal though, their reunion really seemed like a warm reunion of good friends and squadmates.

Hugging them?

I'd have offed Miranda and Jacob right there to prove I wasn't with Cerberus. Then, after explaining how ****ing happy I was to see her, I'd THEN top it off with a hug.

Don't weigh as much either, you think? All that carapace to haul around :D WATCH OUT GARRUS!

Seriously though, I'd call it a tie. In a race, that is.
