And, unlike you, we actually get it done.

With Picture.

And soon? Music.

:P

Yeah.... I do procrastinate.  Badly.

Must be easier, having someone else on which to bounce ideas off of.  Plus they keep you motivated...

It really has helped the project achieve it's potential.

I don't think either of us could have done as well without the other here.

Definately. Jones and I have had to reinforce one another on multiple occasions. We're both outside our comfort zones doing this, and having someone to keep you in line and to bounce ideas off of has been splendid. This wouldn't be half of what it is if we weren't both working together.

I think Bioware should make reckoning canon, theres not good reason not to and you could get an awesome side mission where you went to Omega with Xen and blew **** up.

No, your right. I think she say something about her being treated differently because she was an admirals daughter. When you go to the Migrant Fleet she doesnt really have any friends she talks to, besides kal'reegar that is.

I'd hazard a guess that a good part of her friends were from workplaces or from mission squads.

Your probably right, but she doesn't have any childhood friends on the rayya, so i would assume she didn't have many strong friendships in her childhood.

But seriously, Bioware could have just been being lazy, i generally try not to over analyse video game characters - not enough thought goes into planning their story and personality for everything that happens to match up.

A fair point.

They were a little off on the red sand, but that was well within the rights of them.

Yes, yes, that is quite true. It's something we'll never really know unless BW sheds some light into it.

Heh.  That would require a good deal of explaining on their point.  Although it would be awesome to see a kind of "flashback" for Xen's life.

Although the parts covering her life as depicted in Chapter 6 would be....

To your credit, I didn't remember it correctly either. Only when that guy from the comments said something did it click correctly in my mind.

Those parts would never see the light of day. A passing mention at best, as was done with Jack.

A message from Xen with the heading : Daro'Xen vas Moreh nar Khalos. That's all I'd need. Hell, I'd settle for for nothing Xen says going against what we've built in Reckoning. At least then it'd be plausible, and our time not wasted.

Easy to RetCon.  "Different blend of Red Sand", you could say.  Leads to different addiction patterns, thanks in part to their attempt to lengthen the withdrawl time.

Longer withdrawl would force more users back to the drug.  That would sustain demand.

Oh well...

Could just say it was a homemade blend, or something. Consistancy and ingrediants vary.
Edit: I was ninjar'd :bandit:

I can see Reckoning remaining at least not conflicting with the story.  Bioware doesn't really delve very deep into their villans backstories.

I just know BTV will be snapped in half by Mass Effect 3.

All this depressing talk about Reckoning gets me in the downer zone so here's a teaser from Chapter 5 of Grand Escapades:

***

"Brogar, you can tell the group what you found," Tali said.  "And remember to do it in character."

"'Hey, everyone.  I found a trap a few yards ahead.'"  Garrus pointed towards the wall.  "'If we hug the mountain wall to our right, we'd be able to move around it.  And I've had experience creating traps since I hunt game, so I know more about using the forest to conceal something.'"

"You can't just repeat what Tali says as part of your dialogue," Miranda said.  "You have to put it in your own words.  Did you notice what I said when I was talking to the commander as Mysticara?  You have to pretend you're in your character's mind."

"What was your character thinking, then?" Garrus deadpanned.  "'Alexander won't notice me unless I emphasize random words?'"

"I was ACTING," Miranda said, with a wave of her hand.

"Yes, like someone who doesn't know how to act," Garrus said with a triumphant smugness.  "And you're doing an excellent job at it, let me assure you."

I give you an epic brofist. I loved the idea for her IVs, and other things too.

The ONLY thing I'd fight you about is the shin bolts, but we've gone down that road, and I'd rather not do it again.

You do have some amazing ideas. I just don't agree with all (one) of them.

They would have to do some censoring, and obviously they wouldn't go into detail... There could be an awesome scene where Xen blows some pimps kneecaps out the back of his leg

Well, thank you sir.  I think we run parallel in some ideas:

Liv/Rip:  "...finding them attached directly to Kyta's suit by a series of friction-based locks."

Red: "her reputation as a crack quarian machinist was safe, however, as she quickly determined that they utilized a friction based system..."

I'll be thankful if they don't use any of those. Not even the IVs.

I liked the idea.

It functions in physics.

Get two phonebooks and layer the pages between one another and you won't be able to pry them apart.

But that's just an example. The principle still applies.

You inspire me, Red.

In a brutally sick, twisted way...

Anyway. I just wanna say I REALLY appreciate the time and effort you put into your reviews for our story. It really means a lot to us. To me. Thank you.
