Doubtful they'll go into that much detail anyway.

I liked the idea.

It functions in physics.

Get two phonebooks and layer the pages between one another and you won't be able to pry them apart.

But that's just an example. The principle still applies.

Also allows a seal that cannot be easily broken by physical means.  Good for normal suits, to prevent suit tears.  Good for... I-don't-even-know-how-to-label-suits because they cannot be taken off.

The controversy arises from two paragraphs in the first chapter.  The rest has been well received.  In fact, most of those hits are seperate from this thread (and thus the controversy).

But back on topic. I wrote how Tali reacts to Halloween. It is up to the rest of you to write about other holidays. This I command.

Tried my best, sorry if it's no good... I reall  hop  it'  not a train wreak.




Shepard was doing his daily rounds, which culminated in seeing his beloved Tali. 

As he walked through the doors to engineering he heard snickering, it was stifled and barely audible over the soft hum of the engine.
 
 
He stopped in-front of the source, Ken whom was barely containing himself.
 
 
Shepard said the first thought that popped into his mind. “

Where’s Gabby? When she’s not around you tend to get into trouble.”
 
 
 
 
“Oh, mum’s jus takin the day off. Hung up with a cold in medical, you know ‘ow Chakwa’s is with ‘er patients.” 
He responds chuckles making his accent even more hard to understand.
 
 
Shepard noticed his gazed and followed it, he became worried when he noticed it ended on Tali. 
He turned back to him sharply.
 
 
“What did you do Ken!” Shepard whispered frantically.
 
 
 
“Nothin bad, jus a little friendly co-worker interaction. Why don ya go talk to th’ lass an see fer yerself.” He said mischief in his voice.
 
 
 
 
Shepard didn’t like where this was going. He turned sharply feeling Ken pat him on the back.
 
 
 
“You go git her lad.” He said encouragingly, his snickers becoming even more apparent.
 
 
 
Shepard closed the distance quickly between himself and Tali. 
He cleared his throat and Tali turned to him, he was quickly confronted by his sense of humor betraying him.
 
 
 
"Oh hey Shepard, it’s good to see you… actually I just wanted to talk to you… Ken’s been acting a little weird all day. I think he caught what Gabby has.” 
Said Tali unaware of Shepard’s inner battle.
 
 
He tried to look at her seriously, but how could he. He stifled his fit’s of laughter as best he could.
 
 
“Tali… how, how do you not… Ah hell just give me a second.” 
He said as he produced a handkerchief from one of his back pouches.
 
 
Staring back at him was a smiley face drawn in black marker. 
How in the hell Ken had pulled it off, and how Tali hadn’t noticed was beyond him, but he had to get it off.
 
 
As he put the cloth which he had licked to her visor Tali spoke.
 
 
 
“Shepard, what are you doing?” she queried as he wiped her visor.
 
 
He sighed, “good she hasn’t noticed, maybe I can get out of this without an incident. 
Then I’m gonna have to whip somebody’s ass.”   He thought.
 
 
Shortly after he finished cleaning all the marker off, putting the handkerchief back in his pouch.
 
 
“Nothing Tali, just a smudge. I love you.” He said making the last bit as sincere as possible. 
Luckily his chuckling fits had abated.
 
 
“Oh Shepard, thank you. But that can’t be all?” said Tali.
 
 
“Well, we could go out for dinner tonight. What do you say?”
 
 
“I’d love to! Just… I have to finish cleaning the engine.” She stated
 
 
“Alright, I’ll be back when your ready.” Said Shepard the face and it’s cause forgotten for the moment.
 
 
He turned to leave, but not a step away from Tali when a tremendous force hit him square in the back. 
His hit the bulkhead opposite of him, thus blacking out.
 
 
Awaking in the med bay he saw Tali standing over him, hands to her visor and a worried look in her eyes.
 
 
“Shepard… I’m so sorry, b-but  the sign said t-to kick you. I-I didn’t mean it.” She said. 
Despite the amazing amount of pain his back and head were in, he smiled at her affection and worry.
 
 
It was then that the culprit made himself known, Ken  stepped up beside Tali grinning like a fool and clasping Tali on the back.
 
 
“Always wondered if them legs packed a punch. An’ let it be known that on this day April 1st, tha’ Ken Donnolly got back a’ Shepard for cheatin’ a’ skillian five. By the way, happy April fools day command-…”
 
 
Ken didn’t finished as Tali’s powerful kick sent him careening into the wall.
 
 
“That’s what you get for messing with my Shepard, Bosh’tet!” she  said firmly.
 
 
Shepard Just smiled as he grabbed Tali’s hand and kissed it. 
At that moment Doctor Chakwa’s walked in from her coffee break, she shook her head at the sight.
 
 
“I knew there’d be trouble today.” She drawled out before going to help Ken onto a bed.     


Again sorry if it's bad. Didn't really clean it up, so grammar is probably off.

If I were you I'd get on contact with Guinness. You might have a world record on your hands.
