Convergent evolution allows for humans and quarians to have similar basic anatomical structure. Evolution favors the species that can hold a gun. However, that doesn't mean their biology is as similar as you might think. I was mearly implying that quarians might not even have a hymen.

Why am I even explaining this....?

I was thinking the other day of just how well the Tali LI storyline was written. It really was a very walking-on-egg-shells kind of situation, requiring some very clever development. The writers had to be sooooo careful because of the immune system thing. The Tali romance, on my point of view, starts wen Kelly says you ''The way how she looks at you'' at a specific conversation. I got curious and went to talk with her. Then everything started. And i loved it. <3

The romance, for me, started when I first saw Tali, saw the hood, the suit, and her blowing things up, and decided, You know what? That's hot. I wanna check that out. It became solidified when I got to know her and she became my favorite character. It became canon, when I elected to either hold out for a romance with her in a later game, or romance no one for the entire trilogy.

 
 
Mine is slightly different, I would have to stay i was always attracted to her who wound not be.  The romance thought for started after Horizon and my fight with Ashley, then  Jack and Miranda constantly at eat others throats.  Then on Haelstorm it hit  because I never  afraid in my life, if she died it was like  I was like a piece of myself never fought so hard before.  Then it was Alerai that the Cupids battle hammer smacked me upside my head and he said you ****** you love her.    When she  shout about not being able to kiss anyone my heart wretched,  when  she  grieve her father my heart ached and when the Admirals tired to scape goat I was never more furious. I swore that day   that Nathaniel  Shepherd would never let anyone harm her again.

Good morning Migrant Fleet.

Sad that Stanley locked last thread but I can't say that he was wrong.
Need to watch for ourselves to make more constructive conversations and less chat-like.


Regarding why Tali prefers shotgun.
Personaly I think she prefer aggressive style of combat, quickly hacking through doors, deploy some drones, keep enemy busy, sneak behind and finish them face-to-face. That style requires a lot of firepower on short distance. But it just my theory, unless ME3 will have some explenation about this we may never know.

About quarians, Ekuna and Council decission.
I always though that Council is prejudiced about quarians. They're holding old grudge about creation of Geth even that current genration have nothing to do with it. Also Elcors don't seem to have such needs as quarians, they're not forced to leave their home system and live in giant fleet.
I don't think that Ekuna may serve as truly colony world for quarian people, more like galactic pit-stop or giant lab of some kind. I no expert but I think that 4.1G may cause, in long period of time some bones damage.

Regarding creation of the Geth and Morning War.
To attack another species without any reason but simple fear, organic or synthetic is wrong.
I personally think they do fear. If Council ever finds out about that experiments consequences could be enourmus, not just financial. Maybe they think it's better to shutdown entire project. Tried to destroy it but don't predicted that the Geth are far more developed then they thought.
Quarians let fear to affect their judgments and they lost almost everything. They should try to talk with the Geth and so on instead of "shot first ask questions later" and this whole mess could be avoided.

Now, after 300 years past this events both sides should negotiate some kind of agreement, war is not needed when reapers are coming, and quarians could regain Rannoch without pointless casualties.
Hope that case of Rannoch will be resolved in ME3.

I support quarians in trenchoats. Not that farfetched, as some of their early concepts had them in trench coats.
