Ice skating in general is funner than hell, even if it does play murder on your ankles.

Frankly? I just don't like other people. You let them get close enough... they stab you in the back. The internet is nice and impersonal. Can talk, but with minimal risk.

I feel like I should despite this for I know it's wrong, but. . . the truth is I can't. I've had the same thing happen too many times to argue the point.

Anyway, I've come to imagine that the knife is a family heirloom, passed down from one generation to the next. Probably more of a good luck charm than as a practical weapon.
Tali probably did get it from Rael who probably got it from his father and so on and so forth.

Being allergic to the sun hasn't done much to encourage me to go outside... that's for sure...

I miss swimming and blading...

God... I can only imagine how Tali feels... she's never been swimming... never worn a bathing suit...

God... it's so easy to take the little things for granted...

Hedgehog's dilemma?  I'm seeing the attraction of quarians already.

Makes perfect sense.  If I was sending my daughter out into the unfriendly world alone, I'd at least consider giving her a weapon of last resort.

The only time I tried to skateboard was back in college. I used to steel my suit-mate's board and go ride around in the parking lot. I never fell and cracked my skull open, so I guess that's not back for a first-timer.

I think I'd make a great quarian, personally. Everything being impersonal. Faceless. Sharing yourself only possible with someone you're willing to die for to do it... I could live like that, I think. I'd probably adjust better than most.

I think a knife would be symbolic of Rael. Cold, harsh steel... literally a metaphor for the knowledge and training he armed Tali with...

Rain is so Rare in Vegas... but not in Indiana...

It downpoured two weeks ago... and I can't normally go out in the sun...

I stepped outside, took off my shirt, and just enjoyed it...

I hope... one Day, that's possible for Tali...
