Clothes we  would like to see in  Tali if she did not have to wear a suit. Earth style or other wise. This can always go into the area of t what would Traditional   quarian clothing  look before the fall?

*Tali hug earned.*

Seeing as I'm apparently the only one here who ever even so much as took a biology course... I'm usually relegated this designation more than I'd like...

I'm so tired of explaining the same principles over and over again...

Hmmm We where required to take biology every year in HS IIRC. It guess nobody pays attention in school :P

I blame Rip for talking about alien hymens..

Talking about silk robes, though... We need a Alt Appearance Pack for Tali!

Plainclothes Tali would be hilarious.

"There! That's what she looks like! Happy?!"

Garrus: You owe me fifty Credits, Joker.

Joker: Dammit! Why are alien chicks always so hot?

Shepard: Wait? You thought she'd be ugly?

Joker: I'd run away, but I know I couldn't outrun you. Can I have a head start?

Shepard: ...

I'd think quarian cloths would be similar to their what they wear on their suits. Hoods, intricate cloth wrappings, belts and straps, utility and beauty all in one. Just my guess.

EVENING NEW TALI THREAD!

Convergent evolution allows for humans and quarians to have similar basic anatomical structure. Evolution favors the species that can hold a gun. However, that doesn't mean their biology is as similar as you might think. I was mearly implying that quarians might not even have a hymen.

Why am I even explaining this....?

I should just go back to drawing or something...

This got me to thinking, do you think its possible that the Protheans that survived the reaper attack could have influenced the evolution of organics accross the galaxy? Seems possible since most of the sentient species seem to have similar biological structures.

I don't think it was possible, considering that the Protheans that survived were those few scientists that made the mini relay and altered the keepers so the Reapers couldn't remotely activate the Citadel relay. They probably died of hunger.

To be more specific, could they have influenced the evolution of Quarians as well as Humans?

Well, there's one good thing about having to start over....

We're going to hit page 9001... again.

Hell yes.

As far as clothing, I think Rip's right. The body wraps and form-hugging skirts are what I envision as Quarian fashion. If you look closely, it appears that all the suits are the same black rubber-like material underneath. I think *that* is the actual suit, and it is common to all Quarians of the same gender. Everything else is adornment, and that would be the most similar to the clothing they'd wear normally.

The exception to this would be the cowls/veils. I think those are there to simulate hair and to cover the helmet's starkness.

I  for one would love to dress up in a nice evening grown,  nice and glamorous like on of the old style 40's movie star gowns.  Chessy  I know but I like to make my ladies feel like a million bucks.

as for tradition  Quarian Clothing  I  ran with something along lines of hoods and veils  always  saw thought there culture would be some what Indian like.

I don't want to explain this again...

No. The reason they all look alike, until stated otherwise, is convergent evolution. I remember the devs stating this explicitly. Hands are usefull for using Tools. Two eyes allow for depth perception. Two feet allow you to stand and use your hands at the same time. A mouth with teeth lets you chew food. These are useful anatomical structures. It makes sense that other species evolved to have similar structure to us. That they look as human as us, is debatable, but the theory is sound.

If you look at the Quarian skeletons on the Quarian rescue mission, it's clear that their morphology is *very* similar to ours.
