Its worded poorly, since I love her ME1 outfit, though I do prefer her ME2 outfit, so its technically correct.  That's largely by design I think though.  Her ME1 suit was supposed to be patchwork, with repairs made on the fly.  For ME2, she was able to work on a beautiful suit that adds a lot to her appearance.  Its not a fair comparison really.

Consensus on the suit. I didn't like the metal arm.

I didn't mind it, but the new suit is a definite improvement.

And why do you think ME1 Tali looks worse? Sure, ME2 Tali looks beatiful and more adult-like but I don't get why you say such a thing.
I'm not offended, I too feel ME2 Tali is much more improved in her appearance.

I like ME1 Tali, but I like ME2 Tali more aswell.

The ME1 suit was an asymmetrical piecemeal outfit.  Yeah, it fit in with the idea of quarians slapping together technology from various bits, but it wasn't visually pleasing.  Thankfully, in ME2, even the basic quarian suits are better to look at.

There isn't much to discuss. Of course the ME2 suit looks better than ME1.

She had the first one on her Pilgrimage, and probably didn't have enough material to make it the way she wanted.
 
And the second one was designed with a more mature look in mind.

Go figure.

in the pic I used? Glow, thats why you see the back harness lighted up.

I think I was the only person who genuinely liked the Metal Arm.
