So we know that Tali loves dem roleplaying game things. What other games might she enjoy? How might gaming work on the Fleet with limited resources?

...do they LARP?

The greatest tool a quarian has is his/her omni-tool...then I guess their imagination.

I think the veils that quarian women wear are indications that they have hair. Anybody else think this?

No, I always saw the veil as analogs for hair. Something feminine for quarian women to wear.

Maybe.

And I'm all for it.

I'm not so fond of bald Tali.

Dunno, we really haven't seen much popular media from the quarians. Tali says they like to dance and she likes music. Nothing on other forms of entertainment.

Well, if we're going with the "space gypsy" thing, then I assume storytelling would be big on the flotilla.  From there, tabletop RPGs are a natural extension, I think.

I'd rather they not have hair. I'd like for Quarians to be very alien looking. The Asari already fill the unappealing role of near-human species.

I always assumed Tali's dance comment in Mass Effect was a shout-out to her Voice Actresses main profession (Sroka is a dance choreographer)

And they don't even have hair. They have tentical things... Besides batarians having that thincoat hair is very 'alien' in the ME universe. Besides, you can have hair and look like alien

Meh. Hair wouldn't bother me. Completely human facial features might, though.

I can see why the impoverished Quarians may have the virtually cost less dancing as entertainment.

True enough - but I thought we were speaking of human-style hair. If we somehow have something different in terms of hair, I may very well not mind.

Eh. I really don't mind either way. I just picture short hair because it makes sense to me. Honestly doesn't matter, I just want a face.

Same with me...Although I still think of Jill in terms of facial-features.

Agreed, the ironic thing about the whole hair situation is that having hair distinguishes them from the rest of the galaxy more than the other options.  Personally, I want, and expect hair, because I never bought into the whole alien appearance thing, the rest of her is already very alien, but anything is fine really.

A question, if Quarians do have hair, how would they cut it? Because it would reah a certain time where it would be very unconfortable to wear that helmet with long hair. Assuming that their hair grows the same as humans that is.

You learn something new every day.  Still, space gypsies, so hey, dancing is in.

Theoretically, it could be pulled back in a pony tail and fastened to the suit in some way that would let it grow comfortably for a long time.  Assuming the same growth rate as humans, it wouldn't need cut more than once a year.

For another possible explanation, its the future, and the suits are super advanced, maybe nanobots keep it perfectly at a comfortable level :wizard:

A human face on an alien body would be unnerving to look at.

It's not like they never remove their suits for maintenence and whatnot.

Besides, they would only need to remove the helmet in that event.

That's even assuming the hair would grow at the same speed.

And Ash seemed comfortable enough with her ponytail.

They still have clean rooms on the fleet where they can live outside of their suits for a short period of time. They could also have their helmet sectioned off so that they only need to open a single compartment to cut their hair, or their genetics grow their hair only so long. never know.

The three fingers, three toes (two very long) and bent shins. We get it. She's an alien. That's enough.

I agree, hair would distinguish them.  The asari, turians, elcor, hanar, vorcha, and krogan - none of them have hair.  The closest race that has the closest thing to hair (besides humans) is the batarians; they have a thin layer of very fine hair on their faces.  I also want the quarians to have hair.

While were on the topic... what would Tali's hair look like? Posted Image
