That brings up a very pertinent question. Given that quarians must, at this point, spend so much of their lives in their suit, would their fashions out of the suit rebel against that? For example - given a place that she could reasonably expect to be out of her suit safely (say a consistently sterilized area she had adapted to), would she have a tendency to wear as little as possible? Would modesty be a factor, considering how form fitting (by necessity) her suit is?FsDxRAGE wrote...
Tali in jeans with a spaghetti strap shirt would be hot
IMO, she would be likely to want to wear as little as possible. Since quarians have no true fashions of their own, at this time, I could see Tali preferring to lounge in their shared cabin just in an oversized shirt. Loose fitting, since freedom of movement would be a key. Bare minimum for decency. Comfort over style.
Thoughts?

The woman does.
Tali could walk down the street as naked as the day she was born and still be a lady why?
Because no matter what she is a lady...
And yes she would look absolutely nose bleed sexy in booty shorts and tank top that figure.
But Hanar still have the ability to walk on dry land. Granted they are much more at home in water but they seem to be able to stand on dry land for extened periods of time. Why would they evolve to be able to do that if 90% of thier homeworld is ocean?LostJ wrote...

EVENING NEW TALI THREAD!This got me to thinking, do you think its possible that the Protheans that survived the reaper attack could have influenced the evolution of organics accross the galaxy? Convergent evolution allows for humans and quarians to have similar basic anatomical structure. Evolution favors the species that can hold a gun. However, that doesn't mean their biology is as similar as you might think. I was mearly implying that quarians might not even have a hymen.
Why am I even explaining this....?
I should just go back to drawing or something...
I don't want to explain this again...
No. The reason they all look alike, until stated otherwise, is convergent evolution. I remember the devs stating this explicitly. Hands are usefull for using Tools. Two eyes allow for depth perception. Two feet allow you to stand and use your hands at the same time. A mouth with teeth lets you chew food. These are useful anatomical structures. It makes sense that other species evolved to have similar structure to us. That they look as human as us, is debatable, but the theory is sound.
Elcor's homeworld have huge gravity. Bipedals not suited for that.
Hanar's homeworld in over 90% water. No use for legs, since you don't need to walk.

I agree, she would cherish being out of her suit, and would do as little to restrict that feeling as possible. But maybe she would also want to try other outfits simply because they are not her suit.... I think that she may have a crisis in fasion if she were able to come out of her suit on a regualr basis.

i was actually talking about natural selection. but whatever. and i do believe the theory of evolution can only apply to humans, due to differences in planet life and dna
If the Hanar are to be believed, their ascension to space had its basis in the Protheans. Either the Protheans purposely manipulating their evolution or the Hanar finding Prothean ruins in the seas that allowed for their technology to progress to space-faring levels. Would they have set their sights toward space without the Protheans, considering how ill-suited they were outside of water?LostJ wrote...

Excuse me.
I now feel the need to bang mye head against a wall.
ALL life is based on evolution. It would be the same on another planet, unless the life there was so utterly different and far removed from ours, but at that point, I'd be hard pressed to even call it life.
New topic. Before I get a migraine.
