I didn't say aging. I said dermal damage due to being locked inside the suit. There is a difference, and you're clearly confusing the two.

That goes back to suit inconsistencies that I was mentioning earlier.  I would like to see something cybernetic, and a scar would make sense, but more than that just seems unrealistic.  There are plenty of ways to accomplish things the suit needs to do besides willingly destroying the face.

Destroyed? No.

Damaged? HELL YES.

I'm speaking from a character design perspective. This is how I would do it. I have some experience in the subject.

.

Look at TIM. Clearly cybernetics in the Mass Effect universe are sometimes visible on someone's face.

Again, glowing eyes MAKE NO SENSE.  For all we know TIM's are just contact lenses with miniature displays on them.

Well, was just saying in-game lorewise that cybernetics visible on the face isn't unheard of in the ME universe.

No thanks BioWare. I'll use my own camera angles.

I did't mind the the odd ass shot, there are shots of Jacob and other characters ass or breast, but it could a little stupid after awhile. Hur hur hur lets put her ass in the camara for NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO REASON!

This image. This image says it all. I would be happy with this.

I love the idea of a scar in concept - but it seems unlikely that one can develop with the Quarian surviving.

Sorry, over reacted there.  But the way the conversations were going it was like she has a huge metal thing on her face like the borg.

Funny story? Vespaz's original inspiration was the borg queen. Who knew?

That's silly.

Tali has endured several gunshot wounds. Reeger took a bullet and lived. Contrary to what most people think, a suit breach, wound, or kiss aren't going to kill most quarians. Is there are higher risk of infection or reaction? YES. But provided they get enough antibiotics, their immuno implants aren't damaged, and they damage isn't catastrophic, they'll be fine.

Mostly because omnigel IIRC heals tissue is why it seems implausible to me.

Visor-like device atttached over eyes. Similar to Garrus' visor, but rougher and more angular in design.

I personally got the same vibe when thinking of Tali's face before seeing Vespaz's pic. I think it's a great parallel to draw inspiration from, and it shows in his image.

Unless your resources get strained.

"Things get ugly fast" Reeger FTW :police:

Nor would I  but it is clearly not the case in the placeholder.  If we were not supposed to use the placeholder for a general idea of the facial features it would have been concealed even more that it was.  Hell, until I got my new vid card I played ME1 never knowing you could even see alittle of her nose!

Just seems unecessary to me.  Unless you were covering your ears all game, you know about the damages and hardships of the quarians.  Bending details so that you can really hammer the point home is like having the last reaper wipe out the quarians with a dying blow just to prove they're tragic figures.

Just seems like a difference of opinion I guess.  I think it would fit perfectly with Xen or Shala.  Showing the effect of the quarian plight on the face of someone who has seen it all.  It would need explained to me in a detailed way how it happened so fast to Tali, and more than just 'being damaged is better from a narrative perspective.'

Quite possibly. Haven't looked at the codex entry (if there is one), though so I couldn't say for sure. Anyway, I like the idea of a scar if it's plausible within the universe.
