Oh, and you know what, just to show I'm being intellectually honest here, I think that the ULB/LLR options when you don't talk to the admirals are pretty weak.

Edit:  Eloquent and touching, but I dunno if they'd really be sufficient to get her off the hook.

agreed did ULB the other day to see what people were talking about, initialy I was like d'aw thats sweet, then I relised he gave absolutely no plausible defence and there was virtually no way it would have worked.

It's like the "Chewbacca defense" of the ME world.

Forgive my ignorance, but Chewbacca defense?Posted Image

I have a new topic for all us all to discuss.

Let's say the ultimate happy ending for Tali fans is available. You can romance her, live, even go off to the homeworld.

But you have to enslave the geth and use the virus to make them all Quarian pets against their wills, or kill them.

Essentially, genocide or mind slavery...so you can have a happy ending with Tali.

It may not seem like a big deal in the game, but in real life, I couldn't live with myself if I annihilated an entire people so I could be with one person.

It depends if you care about the geth.

I, for one, am fully willing to throw wave after wave of them at the Reapers until they are extinct.

I agree, I'd throw Krogan too to their deaths. It's acceptable so anything can live.

This is more like killing or mindslaving them in an extracirccular activity, if you will.

What, on the stone tablet?  Are they like the symbols on the Migrant Fleet?

Someone needs to get a screenshot.

But Koris?  He's the only one who actually takes any time thinking about his vote.  He's the only one who has to be swayed, I believe.

If that's true then I'm pretty embarrassed about what I said earlier.

I would need it explained in a lot more detail.  That decision is too big for me to make without a lot of information on who's actually responsible for the problems at hand.  Are the geth not offering peace and actually resisting the quarians peacefully coming in for no reason?  Are the geth open to letting the quarians come back, but want to stay too, and the quarians can't accept that?  Too many variables for me.

He's the last to vote, and the only one who hesitates before voting.

Amy Wong: Shepard, how did you defeat the Reapers?

Shepard: I simply threw wave after wave of Krogan and Geth at them until they got bored and left.

Admiral Xen uses the Reaper tech to make all the geth obey the Quarians so they can move back in.

Or, alternatively, they use it in some fashion to get them all to kill themselves. Basically Xen gets her way and use it so you can go to homeworld with Tali.

Not going to enslave or destroy the Geth. If that means my canon Shepard can't romance Tali, oh well. I'm not exactly worried though.

Why wasn't peace an option?  Is the question I'm mainly interested in.  If the geth are willing to work with the quarians (which seems pretty likely,) Xen's plan is needlessly wreckless, on top of the whole morality quandry.

There's something to be said about those two species...

One an effective, genocidal, and expendable army convinced the Reapers need to be destroyed...

And the other an effective, genocidal, and expendable army that loves to fight...

Speaking of that...

...They should fill a star with a crap ton of dark energy, toss it through a mass relay and then kill the reapers with a hypernova.

Maybe we could make the Reapers overheat and explode by stuffing a couple dozen volus into their air ducts or something?

Gotta throw in with Collider. I'm not willing to be a monster. I would consider wiping them out for continued belligerence, but not enslaving them. I'm better than a dirty blink.

Well, I would like for peace to be an option. I'm just suggesting if Bioware wanted to give us a choice to "make us happy" but at the same time make it difficult, they could essentially allow us to commit an atrocity and give Tali everything, or be morally clean but leaving the Quarians "homeless" or even perhaps severely wounded in a stupid unaided war without Reaper or virus tech.
