I'd agree that she's the sort to assume the worst.  But I will note that she's already taking charge of things BEFORE the point of no return by taking away Shep's social crutch datapad.

I lol'd.

It is!  He holds it out there like it's a shield or something.  Can't embrace a lady like that.

I think she was trying to remove all distractions, by taking away the datapad. When Shepard takes the intiative and removes her mask, she knows it's the real deal, and well, you know the rest.

She's also the one to lead him to the bed.  But that's after that last choice, so I didn't mention it.

True, true. It's an interesting touch, and I think it fits her.

Well, don't just stand there; the lady's looking for an answer.

That is my favorite drawing of Tali.  Awesome.

I'm sure the fact that such a pose helps show off her assets means nothing to me...

Shepard: You're the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I loved that Tali was the one to take control in their sexual accounter. Once the mask was removed, there were no inhibitions, and we got to see just how forceful she could be. She's no delicate flower, that's for sure - just the most pristine specimen in the galaxy.

The planning involved is endearing, too. She's poring over medical research, trying to make sure she's not risking her life too much. And she still has time to consider if she should bring music.

(I bet she consulted Garrus. He suggested the Flux music, and she figured that while it was "interesting" it might not be appropriate.)

Ah, that's still one of my favorite pictures and thus why it's my cellphone background, so I can take Tali with me where ever I go.

It's funny, on my most recent playthrough, I finally noticed the giant window above the bed...

"Talk nerdy to me"

At the Citadel
In the Normandy
Behind the drive core
Until I'm screamin' for more
Up in the upper deck
Lock the cabin door
And baby,
talk nerdy to me

I think its reasonable that she took over.  Tali was the novice, after all.  Shepard let her explore, to do as she wished.

I also think of it more as Tali's night.  She was the one who had to prepare, to risk herself.  She should get to decide how it goes.

And the thing about it is; I don't think she really all that afraid of what might happen to her if she dies from the encounter, but rather; I think she's afraid of what might happen to Shepard.
She doesn't want to die I'm positive of that much, but her biggest fear might be Shepard thinking that he killed her.

That's exactly what I had planned for the fanfiction I was going to write. Tali consults a few people. Including for music - Garrus doesn't have a clue and Jack gives her a ridiculous answer as a prank. That's what in my head happened and why she didn't know what music to bring.

I dunno about this.  By her own words, she's more concerned about compromising the mission until Shep talks her down from that.  Then she's all "I want to, if I can figure out how to survive it."

Well, that at least makes Shepard seem considerate. But are we assuming that Shepard is James Bond? For all we know, Tali was his first. Unlikely, but still.

Normally I think skylights are tacky, but I'm willing to make an exception in that case.

Galt Danger Shepard is a ladies man.  This is a fact.

I agree. She cares most about the mission. But I think that she mentions it in part to push Shepard away (fruitlessly, in our games, of course).

It would be awesome just to lay there and look up at all of the stars.
