In conclusion, Tali doesn't need sleep.
Simple math is fun!

Yeah. Just reread happy fics. Although it took pretty much all the ones I have saved...
Now I'm filled with anticipation and dread in equal measure.

Yep, just looking at the shin bones told me that but some like to have further proof. Great job finding itThundertactics wrote...
Whoa, two freaking hours without a post.
Anyhoo, just spent a while looking through all the .pcc's marked as N7 to find the alleged quarian skeleton from the quarian crash site:
And here ya' have it:
5 fingers, 5 toes, it's just a freaking human skeleton.
Not sure if it was intended to be one, or merely used as a placeholder (which would say a lot about quarian physiology, if BioWare's comfortable enough to use a human skeleton in place of a quarian one), but that's that, it's a human skeleton.

Actually, had they just deleted a couple of fingers and spent 10 minutes on a curved shin it would have been better than using human skeletons on that missions. It's not a resourse issue, it a laziness issue.Aesaar wrote...
It would make no sense to make an entirely new model for a quarian skeleton if it's only going to appear in one side mission.
It isn't necessary anyway. Human and quarian body shapes are similar enough that their skeletons have to be similar as well. These aren't turians or krogan we're talking about. Human skeletons make perfectly adequate placeholders. Just don't draw too many conclusions from them.

You're right about it not being game breaking. First time I saw them I thought 'lazy' and went on to enjoy the game.Someone With Mass wrote...

Or maybe they didn't have enough time.
Besides, it's just a skeleton. It's not like it's something game breaking.

On a high textured model I agree 100% but these are low quality, low texture meshes. I've dealt with stuff like this and one UV map update (if even needed) and you're back up and running. Those skeletons remind me of the simple .x Directx meshes. Exceptionally low poly count.Aesaar wrote...

Deleting parts of a completed model isn't as easy as you might think. It usually screws up the UV map, which takes a few hours to correct. All to change minute details which most people won't notice. It's just not worth the time. Same goes for all quarians having the same suits with different colours, when in actuality they probably personalise them as much as Tali does hers.

Fair enough, or at least make it easily compatible with the UDK.Aesaar wrote...
Still, this is just one more reason why I wish Bioware would release an ME2 toolkit like the one they did for DA. That would be so awesome.

But then again, they'd probably earn a whole lot less on DLC that way. (Who would buy a weapons/armour/AA pack when there's probably a hundred mods that offer something nearly identical?)
It's safe to say they wouldn't buy it anyway, 'cuz if they had that kind of money, they would've bought a PC. :VAndaius20 wrote...

Your lack of faith in the modding community is disturbing, good modders could easily top the pathetic AA packs and Weapons/Armour packs we've been getting.Someone With Mass wrote...
I can say right now that I'd rather pay for packs made by professional artists. Good fan-made stuff is very rare.
You'd still get a superior control scheme and better graphics. :VSomeone With Mass wrote...
And not buying the PC version can be because some people simply don't give a shit about modding. Like me.

In fact, this is what happens when you have a 1 month competition and tell a bunch of modders that the best submissions will make their way into the game.
Additionally, my all time favorite game, Freelancer, pretty much thrives on mods, some of them having approximately 10 times the content of the original game, and usually those are of damn good quality. You'd still get a superior control scheme and better graphics. :VSomeone With Mass wrote...
