Well now see that's where i have a problem with the word "bubbles"...cos that just puts an image of a plastic bubble and that is just weird to be going around a ship in because,Someone With Mass wrote...

1) the only way to move something like that would be to roll it like on the Gladiator challenge with those cage balls
2) the air would get stale REALLY fast
3) not much sound would escape from inside, or be heard inside
4) poor waste management
5) seems like a waste of space, tactically, less room used by bubbles is more room for important stuff like food production machinery..
Thats why i think the "bubbles" are sterile fields produced by a piece of equiptment, either on the childs belt or carried like a backpack, and they have filtered air to breathe in some form of canister, closer to the parents full grown enviro suits but giving more freedom
sorry for the length of the answer but its been bugging me for ages now...

How high would mental illness run among quarians? Being forced to live in a suit and told that you will die if you ever take it off can't really be good for your sanity.

I bet no one told Brandon Keener and Liz Sroka that their characters would practically become the series mascots.
I wonder how they'd react...
Brandon Keener: Ha! Well, I guess it's no suprise, really. Garrus was on the box first time around.
Liz Sroka: *elbows him* Please. I've got a million more fans than you.
Brandon Keener: Yeah, but Garrus has loads more fanart.
Steven Blum: And I've still got piles of money from my other voice acting jobs.
*Keener and Sroka just stare*
Steven Blum: Heh heh... "Yeah! Right on your ass!"
Liz Sroka: *dramatic flourish* Ladies and Gentlemen, Spike Spiegel!

What, like how far someone will go before he/she cracks and decides to jump out of the suit and do as much as they can before they get deadly ill?
Rare.
I figure that they teach everyone how to cope with it.
Besides, it's better than being trapped inside the bubble where you can't touch anything around you.

Uh. I'm pretty sure the bubbles are solid. But more importantly, the bubbles are as "a way for children to go outside the cleanrooms." Which is to say most of the time, they're not in bubbles, they're in a clean room.
Just putting that out there.
