wouldn't be very smart on BW part if they cut those three out of the game that would make around 80-95 % of the fans very unhappy.

Tali talks about him as if he's still alive. And Jacob doesn't mention among the dead.

I'd just end up not buying the game if all of my favorite characters are absent.
Same here. If Tali, Garrus and Legion aren't in ME3, the Reapers can conquer the galaxy and turn every living being into Reaper smoothies for all I care.
Indeed. If any one of the three was left absent, the whole thing just wouldn't feel the same.
I'd probably still give the game a run if other epic characters like Mordin were back and the general gameplay was improved, but something about Tali, Legion, and Garrus just feels very integral to Mass Effect now.

I can understand Wrex, who else can unite the krogan besides they might put him on the team again with a little luck.Mukora wrote...

It's the other characters I feel they hosed. Wrex will be back in ME3 for sure as long as they players kept him alive.

I wouldn't denounce Bioware or anything. I just find the Reapers uninteresting as enemies. I find Shepard rather uninteresting as well. The characters are primarily what hold my interest at this point.
Pretty much my exact stance as well.

indeed doesn't match he personalty, Tali and Garrus makes more sence to come back.mrsph wrote...
I never expected Wrex to return in the sequels anyway. He had a pretty clear write-out in Mass Effect.

He pretty much hitchhiked through the first game. Just passing through and then move on.

Wrex's cameo was very well done, and seems like they had planned all along. The other characters were handled a lot worse, and some of the characters now (an exiled Tali for example,) are impossible to write out without them going insane and pursuing a career as a painter

They probably will, but I'm referring to their place as squadmates (or at least major characters).
Unfortunately, ME2's ending direction (involving a high probability of losing certain characters) almost denies any of the ME2 cast from being squadmates in ME3. Unless Cerberus goes and rebuilds THEM too...

With that logic, it makes sence that anyone in ME2 wouldn't be in ME3, because they can all die.TTTX wrote...
