And I hate Garrus. Nothing's universal. For most of the LIs, including Tali, the actual romances don't really work for me and I prefer non-canon ships.

No romance should be a "basebreaker" as long as you aren't trolling about it. I asked this thread how they go about their non-Tali romance playthroughs, and I got like 1 serious answer.

The majority of the people here prefer Tali and Garrus, and to a lesser extent, Jack.  That's all I was saying.  Plenty of people don't have a problem with the other LIs, they just aren't favorites.

Right, well, I have to figure out how I'm going to...cut the umbilical cord so to speak. Was wondering what the best procedure was, but I guess I could just go at it by myself with a hacksaw.
