My conversations with Tali progress pretty much in a paragon fashion. I haven't had a playthrough where one of the persuasion options wasn't available to resolve her conflict with Legion.

Couple things I've done that are possibly far removed from the norm in this thread.

1) Tali is usually the last squadmate recruited. This is because I hate being interrupted in the middle of the missions on Illium to go to the Collector Ship. With the Locust available so early on, I don't much miss the lack of the Tempest for most of the game.
2) I don't hug Tali when she finds her father and pretty much go with the neutral options until it's time to move on. This is very much a projection of my own self into the game. And no, nobody in real life thinks I'm an unfeeling git just because I don't hug them.

Interesting. After trying renegade and paragon, I went with all neutral options on the Alerai as well, and Shepard felt significantly less like an opinionated jerk. Like you know how your 2nd squaddie on Tali's loyalty mission doesn't say a single word? That's kinda how I wanted to go about it, but noo.

Things I've done that might make people of this thread's blood boil, but I don't care.

1) Present the evidence to the Admiralty Board.

Understandable. I've subconsciously wanted to do the same ever since my first playthrough, but I'm convinced that once again, my Shepard should just keep his mouth shut as much as possible. In fact, you've been in heated debate with Collider over this exact subject, and I thought Collider made excellent counter-points.

2) Get Tali killed during the Suicide Mission.

I are not understand, but it's your playthrough. I love to hate Miranda, but I won't kill her because there's no reward for it.

Things I've been doing since ME1.

1) Argue with Tali over the Quarian/Geth situation.

Initially what drew me in to the entire story. Along with the rachni wars and genophage. Tali's (ignorant) passion about the entire thing caught my interest because I was completely ignorant about it.

I don't know if anyone posted this already, but can someone explain why this thread is 2.0 when the one that got locked (T^T I know the reasons... It-It just huuurts... T^T) was 4.0?

Also: If in ME3 you had to choose between saving a shuttle full of kidnapped humans and another shuttle with only Tali onboard, which would you save?

...I'd choose Tali, though she'd probably have mixed feelings about me afterwards...

That's like arguing with a Jew about the severity of the Holocaust.

The Holocaust is like a local riot compared to the Morning War, though.

In your own experience.

I've said that before, too.

I'd take Tali too. Those humans were probbaly not so important anyway. Shepard has sacificed much for humanity (his life for one) time for them to repay the debt.

And the Jews didn't try to exterminate the Germans first. I'm not saying that the quarians deserve what they got, just that the conflict wasn't right vs wrong.

Tali reminds me of me, perhaps too much. I have been unable to actually complete her romance as opposed to watching it on Youtube. Dredges up memories of awkward crushes I'd rather forget. I like her better as a friend. Please don't eat me.

Mine was a crush on a philosophy teacher in college. The romance could practically be taken from may daydreams at age 19-20. So yeah...little close to home and not in a good way.

Ah yes, but you are Shepard, you can make sure it does last. ;) (Or whether you ditch her for the next best thing and crush her very heart and soul, it's all up to you)

Point. Every rule has its exceptions.

Additionally, I recently went through the Migrant Fleet to make this vid (and another time to make this one, both per request of this thread), the vorcha's ass line is not something you forget easily.

Besides, dem hipz, they are hypnotising.

No more link-clicking for you from me. Not no more.

I bet Sroka was incredibly happy when she learned she only had to say Saren once in the whole game.

not that I'm Jewis but I know history the Jews have been exiled from their country for almost 2000 years they didn't have a country of their own until they made Isaral.
so they have been exiled a lot longer then the quarians just saying.

The other one had the name changed halfway through and left out a number, and this is the second iteration under this name.  Its still the 5th thread overall.

Comparing misery in any form is a foolish act done only by those who have yet to experience true suffering, be it mental, physical, or spiritual.

It's much better to compare hip-sexiness!

All VS Tali = Tali wins

It's not even like I've given the evidence to the Admiralty Board every time - I did it once. And I have very strong reasons why I would do so. Collider tends to point out that a human like Shepard has no business significantly screwing with an alien issue. I'd add particularly since the purpose of the game is to ensure loyalty of the squadmates for a much riskier issue. But I have enough playthroughs, I can handle some truly dismal ones.

1) For science.
2) To see what it would take to get everyone killed.
3) For a Worst Playthrough Ever import.

Haha. Still, even when she has improved greatly for Mass Effect 2. She still has a problem with her R's on words like "Garrus"

Seriously, hack her into Garrus' recruitment mission and she totally says his name in the most hilarously cute way.

Oh. I joined during the exodus to reach 9,000 pages so I didn't know the title had changed too. Thanks for answering my question! :)

Hell 99% of Quarians were wiped out and they have to stay at a constant population of 17 million.
