Stop STEELIN' MAH INDIVIDUALITY with that image.
On the subject of Volus/Quarians, you'd think there would be more business deals between the two. They both are completely reliant on environmental suits, but one is militaristic while the other is economic. A Volus/Quarian alliance would go a long way.
The volus chose their race to latch onto to best advance their own race, and that was the turians. The turians offer a lot more to the volus than the quarians ever could.

When those people happen to be very vocal and mingle with the rest...it colors us all in bad light.
Don't know how much you folks visit other boards, but Tali is sort of a hated name everywhere else, almost entirely due to certain fans.

Take away the turians' precious little fleet, however, and they're nothing. The volus would abandon them in a nanosecond.

They're called stereotypes, and like most stereotypes, they're only true for a few people. Unless you're referring to people finding quarians generally interesting, along with Tali being one of the more engaging characters/personalities as well
That said, I'm certain Bioware had bigger plans for Tali all along. I'm not buying the whole "Bioware clearly goes with what the fans want, here's proof," line they're trying to feed, because the reasons they give are ridiculous.

ME1 also states that the volus are making a push to join the council. They want to rise to more galactic power, and fleet or not, the turians are the best option.

Hallz no. I fall into that category, really; the romance seemed a bit forced and unnecessary, but the characterization, the race, the backstory, the VA, that all makes for a good endearing character in my opinion.

A false-hate based on the incessant fans. I don't begrudge people for disliking her, but the haters don't like Talimancers. It has little to do with Tali.

Its actually only true on this board from what I've seen, and that's only because the whole character war is purposely played with to create more interest.

So what exactly are you talking about "creating" in the bunk? Besides the obvious.
You know what, nevermind. My point was that he's got the personality of a rock, and if he didn't play Jayne, I'd think he was a ****ty VA.
