I include my Shepard in that statement.

 

I think what  Red is getting at is  if Tali would want him to go as far as damning his  own self in the attempt to  returned her to life.  

More so If Shepherd did rain death upon all and was able to bring  Tali back  would she still love the man he became in the process of bringing  her back

I know I may be declared overly trusting...but this sure did sound good. Even if it is a lie (like the cake) it is a very beautiful and informative lie.

what I   interested in seeing is if he has to abide by  the Life for a life rule... If you want to bring someone back. some has to die in  their place.

Exactly.  I have trouble seeing Tali accept a violently renegade Shepard.
