Hey, I just thought I'd drop a friendly bump post your way from the Ashley thread.



I admit I never romanced Tali as I preferred Ashley but I always still liked her greatly and I can see why she's so popular. I just prefer to think of her more as a surrogate little sister figure of whom I went to extreme measures to protect in the suicide mission.



So yeah, I like her a lot and I figured I'd make a friendly gesture and show my support to see Tali return in Mass Effect 3. She might not have been the one I wanted to romance but I still adored her.



Hope to see her and indeed everyone return from all past games for the third, keep up the good work everyone.

What is that phrase you guys use? Ah yes.

It's just a stupid skeleton that someone will spend a maximum of five seconds to look at. What's the big deal?

That people keep referring to it as a quarian skeleton and use it as "evidence" that quarians look very similair to humans.
I mean, I've already given up on educating everyone that dextro amino-acids have nothing to do with appearance, etc. and that it's just a lame gimmick used by BioWare to differentiate the aliens, but this might be slightly easier to do. (Considering all it takes is posting a pic)

Anyway, I was looking up names for my FF when I found something very interesting (was for me, anyway)
Most of you have probably never researched the origins or meaning of names, but I managed to find "Tali," in a research book printed back in the 80s.

Tali - form of Talia;
Now the interesting thing about this, depending on the country as to the meaning;

Greek - as flowers., Blooming.
Hebrew - religious., Dew from heaven.
English, American - of a person., Beautiful.
Latin, French - of a person or date., Birthday.

Other forms include; Taliah, Talina, Taliyah, Talley.

Something about this mystery just got more mysterious... Dew from Heaven? Beautiful? Blooming? hmmm... not sure about Birthday?? but the other three are interesting...

Elaberation? Romantisising?

From what I can hear, Shepard seems to prefer "Talley"

Yeah, saw it in the Garrus thread, there was a white version of it too, no?

I, personally, am not such a big fan of TexMod, considering my PC sees it as a virus, and I often forget to turn it on. (And the virus scanner off)
That said, if I manage to figure out how I can make my own TexMods, many hours will be spent/wasted editing all sorts of textures.

yep a white version too. All yo uahve to do is not use the laucher is all. Also always interested in seenign new texmods. So lokking forward to what you come up with.

Someone else made a good point a few pages back, its likely that its actually a human skeleton of a human, and not a human skeleton used in place of a quarian skeleton.  There are other dead quarians around (not decomposed at all,) and there is nearly no way that the crash itself actually happened long enough ago for the body to be that ravaged by the varren, so close to the other quarians.  The crash sight is a varren nest, an unfortunate human that has long since been picked clean is the likely donor of that skeleton, not one of the quarians that showed up a few days ago at most.
