I would love to see whatever you have, seriously.  After all, I'm only about halfway through.

Sweeeeet. <3

As I said, I'll try and get back with you tomorrow. I know I have one uploaded somewhere on the internet, but as I remember the size is MASSIVE. I'll hunt and trim that one down for you and upload the other two. I'll shoot you a PM when they're ready.

Also, there's no obligation to use any. I've been meaning to scan them and post them online for while now, but never had the motivation to till now.

The intent has been for a while to cover ME2 as well.

Teaser:

The strange Turk lowered his rifle, full mustache twitching furiously.

"Shepard-effendi," he stated.

They clearly aren't opposed to the idea, as the Pilgrimage is pretty much that exact concept (bringing in usable resources of any sort); of course, since it's never a gift from another race and pretty much every Council species is racist against Quarians, they're forced to be largely independant.

Considering the Pilgrimage seems to be more about the journey rather than the goal, that is debatable. They bring back outside materials that would benefit the fleet, true, but the idea is for the quarian to understand how to survive and show their culture.

This seems to be why they're immediately hostile toward the notion of Shepard speaking for Tali during the trial or helping Veetor/Kal'Reegar, since humans rarely take interest in the Quarians for mutual relations. That and the previous Cerberus incident, which Shepard can never quite shake off despite his denial of legitimate ties to Cerberus.

We've gone over this discussion many times, how quarians value outsiders. Their insular nature, and strong sense of kinship with each other makes it easy to believe that they would generally be uneasy about any sort of outside factor within their confines. Cerberus, a known threat, being an obvious cause for caution.

Yes, more man tears....being pathetic has never felt so right...;)

Tali has that effect on people. You just wanna give her the biggest hug ever. :crying:

Garrus too. But we don't get to hug him. <_<

[/quote]

Yeah, Garrus is the ultimate bro. If he and Tali aren't in ME3, I can't tell you what will happen. It may well be an international incident.

Still one more game to go, maybe if we're REALLY lucky. . .

Tali is easily the perfect woman.

"You deserve to be happy with someone... I can't do that... no matter how much I..."

When the person cares more about your happiness than theirs, you know you've got the perfect girl. :crying:

I promised myself....... that........ I wouldn't cry......*sniff*

The fact that Liz Sroka's voice breaks at that point doesn't help matters. It's killing Tali to say it. It's evident in her voice. But she want's Shepard to have a happy life with someone, even if it's not her.

Beautiful... :crying:

That's what love is man; caring about someone so much that all you want is for them to be happy, even if it's not with you.
It's one of the reasons why my canon Shep (or any Shep, really) allows Tali to be exiled.

Wait.

WHAT!?!?!?!?

YOU EXILE HER!?

How in the hell does that equate to loving someone, even if it's not with you!? That's like doing the exact OPPOSITE!

Heh.  You've caught me in a bit of self-indulgence:  Landscape of Madness was the title of my capstone back in college.

And I'll be just as addicted as ever.

Hope you keep the idea about Shep getting committed and falling under the care of 'Timothy'. Nothing short of brilliance right there.

Yeah, why would you exile her? Especially as it's easy enough to have her acquitted, and she comes with you anyway?

I exiled Tali on my two main Shepard because I was going for a more realistic story for those two guys (no rousing speeches to save the day)

But I have a save there so I can rally the crow whenever I want :3

Dont' you guys think we might be playing with fire? Talking about movies and anime after JUST getting locked down? I think we're pushing it a bit.

You aren't quite helping by just pointing it out.

There is a light discussion going on, on-topic. You could join.

The point is, Tali would love anime. She's a nerd, after all. Albeit a sexy alien nerd, with the most adorable non-human legs and feet you could imagine. Does that make her the perfect woman?....hmmmmm

Liking anime does not necessarily equate to being a nerd.

I hate anime and I'm posting on this forum--Nay, this thread--which still qualifies for hardcore nerddom. Hell, even reading the thread starts to make you a nerd. Or something much worse.

OMFG.... Seriously   are we going into the  You're an anime nerd and I'm star wars so my nerdom is better than  your nerdom because  your nerdom is nothing stupid overly emo teenage nerdom and my nerdom has  laser and space ships and light sabers.(yes i ran that sentence on purpose)

Seriously we're freaking posting on  forum about   fictional character female character in a fictional universe that does not exist we are all  Nerds./ geeks whatever now embrace it  and lets getting to talking about  Tali.

/end rant

btw  Water  this rant was in no way directed towards you it just that  nerd battles always make my eye twitch.

I guess i caught a case of Nerd Rage...

Oh and one more thing to keep this post on topic... Tali along with all the women in Mass Effect are rather intelligent and well versed in their fields. Tali like ships because she grew up and lives on one.
