Perhaps it's been debated before, but when Shepard removes Tali's mask, why does her voice still sound mechanically filtered? Is she cybernetic?
Actually, I think it sounds less mechanical, but agree that there is still that sound to it. It could be that it's just a glitch with the audio in the game, or maybe the quarian voice has a similar tone to that of the turians.
What? Is this some new weapon DLC or something?RedTracer7 wrote...

Oh. I haven't been keeping up with Mass Effect related things lately. Though I did start a new ME1 playthrough and I'm just about to recruit Tali.Ormagodenator wrote...

It sounds less filtered, but it does still have a bit of mechanical tone to it, me thinks.
Also: hello Spat.

I dunno why everyone is getting so worked up about it. Weapon DLCs aren't worth the BW/MSP, in my opinion.

Hard to tell for me. They've messed with her voice so much with both games.
If you are ever playing ME1, listen to Tali as she speaks just after landing on Illos. Apparently, she completely lost her accent for a couple seconds.
Is she? Maybe this will be worth getting.RedTracer7 wrote...
Plasma Shotgun.
But yeah. Think eviscirator with twice the range, and the ability to be powered up to do even more damage.
Tali's a ****ing monster with the thing.

Tali definitely has a stronger accent in ME2. Her voice is a lot deeper too. I'm guessing it's because they're presenting her as a more mature character. Some fans suggested that in ME1, she wasn't an LI because she was technically a minor by the standards of her people, so maybe by giving her a more mature way, and specifically stating in the materials that she is 25, they are silencing those concerns.

When Shepard takes off talks mask did they add and extra lighting to him
so it looks like her eyes did it? I'm still not ruling out that what we see isn't a holo overlay of her eyes .... Augmented reality style

They are only... what? Two dollars?
Now that I've re-listened to it... it still kinda has that 'filtered' sound to it. Could be just an over site.cannedcream wrote...
