I think it sounds 'normal' to be honest.

It sounds less filtered, but it does still have a bit of mechanical tone to it, me thinks.

Also: hello Spat.

Now that I've re-listened to it... it still kinda has that 'filtered' sound to it. Could be just an over site.

Also: Word, Cream. Word. B)

It really is hard to tell with her voice there.  I've decided to just describe it as "sexy" and move on personally :wub:

Tali definitely has a stronger accent in ME2. Her voice is a lot deeper too. I'm guessing it's because they're presenting her as a more mature character. Some fans suggested that in ME1, she wasn't an LI because she was technically a minor by the standards of her people, so maybe by giving her a more mature way, and specifically stating in the materials that she is 25, they are silencing those concerns.

Personally, I really liked the changes they made in her voice.  They did what you said, plus they made it more consistent.

I just love hearing complex words roll off her tongue.

I think so.

I dunno why everyone is getting so worked up about it. Weapon DLCs aren't worth the BW/MSP, in my opinion.

They are only... what?  Two dollars?

yes,
I say it's worth it.

Right.  The only pack I haven't gotten was the Equilizer Pack.  Primarily because I didn't like any of the armor pieces, and also because they all had different head components.

I don't work for Valve.  I don't want/can't wear more than one hat at a time.

It seems almost spiteful to have her use a geth shotgun, more so than a Cerberus shotgun. Oh well, irony kills.

I usually have left-over points after buying one of the bigger packs anyway.

Shepard:
Hey Tali, remind me again what your people put their children in.

Tali: Bubbles?

Shepard: :D

Tali:
I swear, it seems like you ask me that every other day.

Shepard: Ask about what?

Tali: Bubbles.

Shepard: :D

Tali practically drops the accent after a certain point in Mass Effect.

Yeah, but those of us without access to a credit card have to make a trip to the local Game Store to get the MSP.
While I do have a card now, I can't seem to shake the habit of saving the points.

I really hated it when I was missing 50 Points for a new DLC, so I had to go out and take about an hour from my day to get a 1600MSP Card. :pinched:

But Liara was considered a child by her people, and. . . that didn't stop Shepard.

Was Liara actually considred a minor, though, or did she say that simply to imply that her people didn't respect her work because of her compartive youth?

There were some ME1 fans who apparently thought Tali was about 16 years old. Since Quarians live about as long as humans, stating Tali's age at the time of ME2 as 25, and therefore 23 in ME1, a fan's feelings toward her don't seem innapropriate. Personally, I never pictured Tali as younger than early twenties, but still....

Not that it would necessarily stop Shepard ;)

There is a spot on Therum where this happens.

Ha.

Also, I didn't like the Equilizer pack either, and I doubt I'll ever get it. Left over points can go towards so many other wonderful things.

I never understood why they couldn't use a Phoenix Down to revive Aeris, either.

But I lol'd at this.
