I didn't even know the crew would die in my first playthrough, so I just rushed to Legion and used him for half the game, then found out Kelly and the rest got jelly'd.

Eh, I never expected the run to be perfect for a first attempt.

Heh. Go to any bookstore anywhere and you can find it, but not Ascension, nooooooo~.

The site is for the biggest bookstore in my town...which is a pretty big town...if it's not in stock there it's not going to be anywhere else in my town apart from a library...and i'd prefer to have my own copy rather than one used by like 50 other people and the pages are abrely holding together

Neb.

It's actual definition is simple: it means beak, or mandible.

But it has an archaeic use, in that it can mean lazy or lethargic (for reasons I can't find).

Plus, the shortness of it makes it sound like other slurs.

Exactly.
I don't really like cuttlebone. Doesn't have the same impact that 'bucket-humper' did.
Ah well, maybe I'll find a way to work around it. It's not a huge part of the story, anyway.

Silence could have been an option or just a disgusted "what a mess" or something callous but not downright offensive.
